Text Message (SMS) Notifications - Text, Log, and notify via SMS within JobNimbus

Many other CRMs and Project Mgmt software have the ability to choose SMS text messages as a form of delivery. This allows those in the field to get the message instantly without having to log into the mobile app or their email.

I am hoping to grab some information about your current SMS service. We want to make sure we offer a great solution, at a very competitive price. Would you be willing to share what you spend per month on your current messaging provider? How many messages do you send a month and do you know how many SMS vs MMS messages that you send? I know this is sensitive information, so if you don’t want to share that is perfectly fine. We will only use this information to ensure we are meeting your needs for a texting solution.

Update: Mobile 2.0 allows you to send text messages on a job or contact and captures those messages inside JobNimbus as a note. This can help to achieve similar results, though not automated just yet.

You can turn on Push Notifications to get notifications sent right to your smartphone or tablet. It’s better than email for some team members and better than texts since it can go to every device regardless of the SIM card (or lack thereof).

It would be extremely convenient if they had notification alerts pop up on the phone such as text messages do to remind us of the next task that is up! ITS A MUST HAVE!!!!!!!! That way you never forget and get alerts when you have to move onto your new task , it'll pop up as a text message kind of thing!

This is a great idea. It would also be great to have a Text Message (SMS) Notification go out to our customer in a reminder format a day before or a set amount of time before the meeting.
