Team Chat

Have onine chat system so I could chat with al my team contacts even if they are not in the office. Just like MSN or live chat on Facebook, it would be nice if I could chat with anyone online who is on my team or contacts list from the office/company. For example, my boss lives in Edmonton so if we were both logged in then we could chat live if we need anything or if we are working on a file at same time.

    A discussion board would be very helpful for our company. It would allow us to post topics or training objectives where all employees would have access. Everyone would be able to provide feedback, comments, or questions. This would be an amazing feature!

    Our sales reps are always isolated knocking alone, it would be great if there was a way teams could message, communicate and motivate each with instant updates on the app. Being able to tell each other how many doors they knocked, how many leads or claims they got can motivate other reps to work harder.

    I think having a set-up similar to fb's live chat system would be a great addition to JobNimbus!

    Hello Tia,

    I did review the idea below and it is very similar to what we are looking for with a few adjustments. We would like the board to be a little more interactive than just for the use of Admins. However, we do like the idea of being able to change the 'type' of post or announcements to hold a higher level of importance, if need be.

    A location where admins and team members could post to an ongoing thread like discussion board. Similar to the 'Notes' section on a job, but if the company were the job, and all team members were able to "@" whomever within the company. This could be used for announcements from admins, or general questions from team members looking for answers from anyone within the company (i.e cheapest place to purchase this material item). It would make sense to have this visible and easily accessible on the main dashboard.

    Without having to leave a note with a specific contact, or person. I think that it would be a great feature if there was some sort of side bar or IM tool that allowed different people in the office to leave messages with someone else. Or even a bigger "office message board tab or something"

    A location where members with Admin privileges could post general announcements (perhaps with product updates, policy changes, etc.) for team members to view. It would be helpful for an "Announcments" button to show on the left side column (under Dashboard, Contacts, Jobs, etc.)
