  1. A commission sheet that i can print off for salesman

    I really wish there was a section where I could print off a commission sheet for salesman. Right now I am building one in the budget form for them and then printing it. There is not a print button in this section and it makes it very difficult. We would also like the option of net profit.

  2. Email, Print, or PDF for Budget

    Currently there is no option to email, print or pdf a job budget which is very beneficial in forwarding to your salesforce. The work around is a printscreen which unfortunately captures everything on the screen and is not very professional. We have a Snag It program that we can use to capture just the budget flow to make things better but it would really save time if the program has this option automatically.

  3. Auto Save For Estimates, Documents, Templates, etc.

    Twice today !!! I lost my whole estimate because I have a stupid laptop!! I would love it if the estimates i was creating would auto-save every few minutes!! PLEASE!!! I have lost more than an hour of work today!! :(

    We definitely understand the urgency here and apologize for the lost work and time. We’re looking into this, though we aren’t able to provide an estimate of when this would be available. We’ll keep you posted.

  4. Job Profit Calculation (Job Costing) - Estimate vs. Actual

    Once all said and done, It would be nice to get a profit calculated for the Job. The 'Budget" has some nice features that could accomplish some of these things but would need to expanded. Some of the things to include
    1) Material cost
    2) Labor Cost (per employee) Cost vary
    3) a)Original price Line for projject
    b) Added/Subtracted Change orders as line items
    c) Total Job Price
    4) More choices, teirs to calculate the commission
    5) Able to print out as well as save per job

  5. Sync Budgets/Job Costs With Quickbook

    So all appropriate parties could see actual current expenses to compare to their job budgets.

  6. Ability to Track/Calculate a Draw Against Commissions

    Many company's offer the sales person a draw against commission when the ACV check is collected. Job nimbus currently does not allow the calculation to record or recover that draw when the final commission is paid.

  8. Custom Payment Methods

    Need to customize Payment Methods and be able to edit other payment methods. I.E. In house Finance, Greensky, PayPal, Square, ect.

    While we don’t currently have support for this on the JobNimbus side, if you’re using QuickBooks Desktop, you can add custom payment methods to QBD and then map them to existing ones in JobNimbus in order to have those sync properly.

    We’ll keep this on our list to address in a future update.

  9. Save payment terms on invoice templates

    I would like to see that when I am personalizing my invoice template that I can save the terms. It appears to default to Net 15. We run on Net 30. If missed it can make a huge difference in the collections process.

  10. Budget Naming

    Would be helpful to be able to manually assign a name to the budget. Currently it automatically assigns a budget number. We would like to break out our trades and create a separate budget for each (ie paint, gutters, siding). We are able to do this by creating new budgets for each, but under the financials tab the budgets are listed by the assigned number, therefore we have to go into each one to see which trade that budget is for.

  11. Deposit and/or Progress Payments + Receipts

    Under Financials & Estimates, the ability to create "Payment Acknowledgements / Receipts" for deposits &/or progress payments without changing the status of the estimate to "Invoiced".

    Another great feature would be one with the ability to send a deposit or progress payment request that ties into the estimate and shows any prior payments.

  12. Editable form / table builder / checklist builder

    A simple spreadsheet like form/table (editable columns/rows) with ability to insert dropdowns/text/checkboxes, etc in columns - so that we can create checklists for our crews and support personnel. Your table insert tool in the templates section almost does it - except we don't have full flexibility to modify/insert different functions.

  13. More Customizable Financial Templates

    For the estimates, I would like to be able to move our logo around and resize it as needed, to be able to edit the fonts of line items and not have to have a price for some line items. If a certain line item varies on the job like a permit, we would like to put -as incurred- since permits can vary or other line items as well that vary. Instead of showing 0 which would make the customer or company think they owe 0, as incurred would be much more feasible. Other options like a Microsoft Word style…

  14. Change Orders

    If Change Orders were available (especially if they automatically updated the budget) that would be awesome! Also, if an option for attachments allowed "folders" of some sort, that would be helpful. We use attachments a lot and it gets messy with prints, photos, docs, etc all being in one place.

    We want to officially support Change Orders soon, but in the meantime most JobNimbus customers are using Work Orders to manage this work.

    As for folders, you can vote for that specific feature here: http://jobnimbus.uservoice.com/forums/136212-general/suggestions/6066331-folders-for-attachments

    Alternatively, you can use File Types to act as “folders” for your attachments. You can manage your file types by going to Settings > File Types and setting different ones, essentially what would be “Folders”, and then you can use those “folder” names (or file types) to filter your Attachments list based on those “folders”. It actually works pretty well if you have it set up right.

  15. Use multiple templates in one estimate

    We have very detailed and exhaustive estimate templates built that save us a lot of time creating our estimates. However, sometimes we want to create a separate section in the estimate for a different type of work, etc. It would be great if we could load another template in under that section heading, but as it is now, we just have to build it line by line from that point on.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

    In the meantime, you should be able to create custom Contact fields (or Job fields if you have Jobs enabled) for “Supplier” and other fields you want to appear on the Material Order and then have them inserted into the Material Order templates upon creation.

  17. Page Numbers on Estimate

    When creating an estimate and it is longer than one page it would be great to have the pages numbered.

  18. Move Invoice and Estimate to different Contact

    When there is an error with linking an invoice/estimate/etc to a wrong account, I am unable to find an option to change the "contact" to the correct one when I open up the document. Please make the "contact" field editable like other fields are in JN.

  19. The ability to upload existing company documents into the Templates, to create a Template from

    During setup, or even later, if I create a document for my company's use, and then want to make it a Template so that I can use JobNimbus functions with said document, I have to literally rebuild the document in your editor, which is time-consuming. I already spent the time to make it once, so I'd like to use it as is.

    Even something simple like uploading a PDF and tagging the areas to insert short codes (not requiring editing of the text/format of the PDF) would be very helpful.
