Custom Fields For Financials Templates
Let us put custom fields on estimates, material orders, and invoices.( that way we can put in colors, delivery dates, and other options.

This would be a very good improvement. I get that you can add info from the contact and job info but there are things that you might not know when first entering the contact and job info that you would want to be entered when creating an estimate such as payment terms, material color, etc. The work around is to create and item that generates the description but you can't make it mandatory.
This functionality is built into the work orders but it needs to be added to the estimate. Ideally, any custom fields would transfer over when converting to a work order or invoice.

Definitely needs a delivery date on the material order! Color can be added to the description area.
