  1. EDIT DOCUMENT TITLE

    USERS (AT A CERTAIN PERMISSION SET) NEED TO BE ABLE TO EDIT DOCUMENT FILE NAMES. FOR EXAMPLE, A SALES REP UPLOADS A COPY OF A CHECK PAYMENT WITH THE WRONG INFO AND OUR BOOKKEEPER NEEDS TO AMEND THE FILE NAME WITH THE CORRECT CHECK NUMBER, AMOUNT, ETC.

    I'M NOT REFERRING TO CHANGING CATEGORY OR ADDING NOTES ON THE DOCUMENT.

  2. Preview Documents in .doc Format

    I would like to be able to preview documents within JobNimbus in a .doc or .docx file format instead of just PDF.

  3. Require Input on Contracts

    When creating a contract, I want to require my Sales Reps to type something before they can send it to a customer. Like they have to type something there or it will not generate.

  4. Ability to Archive Old Versions of Company Documents

    It's inevitable that Company Documents need updating. Currently, it's not possible to delete or archive old versions of documents that have been used before so it can get confusing to our employees which are the current versions

  5. Limit team members' ability to view email threads/attachments

    Create an accessibility setting for specific team members/groups' access profiles to limit their ability to view email activity from other users and also limit ability to download/view attachments in the emails. It kind of defeats the purpose of limiting team members to be able to view documents such as estimates and invoices when they have full visibility of email activity in which they can just download the attached file and view it.

  6. Convert Photos to Documents

    It would be nice if I could save photos as a document, or somehow get photos to show up on the documents tab, for example if I take a photo of each page of an insurance agreement, I want that to show up in documents.

  7. Checking off items on a Work Order

    People who are assigned to a Work Order should be able to check line items off as they are completed. Admins can then see at a glance what has been completed and what still needs to be finished.

  8. EDIT FILE NAMES

    We need the ability to edit file names. Often times, other departments are uploading documents and they need to be in certain format for processes later down the lifecycle. For example, we have a particular naming format for financials but also being able to add things like PO, job number, or even fix misspellings would be really helpful!

  9. The ability to organize company documents into subsections

    We have so many company documents and every time we are looking for a specific document we have to scroll through and try to interpret the file name as to which document it is. It would be nice if we could save and moved these company documents into subfiles we can edit. For example I can have a subfile for state building codes, the various manufactures installation and technical bulletins such as CT, OC, GAF, Iko, Elk, Celotex Malarky and Atlas ect. Inside those subfiles we can apply others in forms either by file type like brochures, tech bulletins, installation…

  13. Ability to Hide Documents or Photos That Are Not Relevant

    Estimate & Invoice Example -- If we send out 3 estimates/invoices for one job and they only sign one, all estimates show in the documents tab without indication of which one is the signed version. Currently, the only way to determine the valid estimate or invoice is to go back to the financials tab and find the Fully Signed estimate number, then go back to the documents tab and match that to the number in the documents tab. When we have 50 jobs running at a time, this is a nightmare. Either they shouldn't copy to documents Unless they are…

  14. Be able to “Duplicate” or “Copy” a Document

    Please add a “copy” or “duplicate” function on the documents. We currently use our own templates for contracts. When we send a document for signature, it locks it and we can’t make any corrections to that or make a copy. We have to re-create the contract from scratch if we need to make any edits. This is for document that have NOT been signed yet.

    Or let us void the document if it hasn’t been signed, and unlock the document so we can make edits.

  15. receipts

    To have a receipts option under documents downloads that would give you a box to put the cost of the receipt in. This could auto total on the financial page. It would help keep track of job costs. This could theoretically integrate into a post job budget check.

  16. Signatures on WORK ORDERS

    Just like on estimates and documents, WORK ORDERS need to have a native way of adding signatures. We've had a number of subcontractors argue payments with us because they didn't sign for anything. If we send a work order to a sub to accept, we want them to sign for it as a means of accepting the scope of work and payment terms.

  17. Virtual photo release form

    A simple photo release form we could send via Jobnumbus for a virtual signature. This would eliminate the need for printing off a paper copy and the hassle of getting sales reps to upload these documents to jobnimbus.

  18. Ability to delete or hide company documents that are associated with active records.

    Right now you get an error if you try to delete a document if it's been used in an email. We should be able to delete or hide those if they are outdated.

  19. Live Documents

    We have supplements to send to insurance, and often those are figured out on the job and on the fly. It would be better to have a simple document that could be opened, typed in, saved, and closed....and then opened again later in the day to do it again until the job is complete. It would be more akin to a Google Drive document.

  20. Restrict visibility access for different Attachment Categories

    Visibility on different types of documents.

    Prevent certain groups/individuals to be able to see certain types of Attachment Categories.
