The Client-Ready PDF Makeover
I’ve got another suggestion for the Form Builder, but this one is all about the design and layout of the PDFs we’re generating. Right now, the data is all there, but the presentation feels a bit "all over the place," and frankly, sometimes it’s a little embarrassing to send to a homeowner.
The Request: Can we get a cleaner, more standardized layout for Form PDFs? Specifically, we need the "Photo" sections to stop shifting or shrinking when we add more images.

Automatically Add Forms To Documents Once Submitted
I’ve been using the Form Builder lately, and while it’s great for grabbing data in the field, there’s a manual "extra step" that’s becoming a real bottleneck for us.
The Request: Can we get an option to automatically save a submitted form as a PDF directly into the "Documents" tab of a job?
The "Why" (Real-Life Example):

Estimate number on company page of proposal
Have the estimate number populate on the company page of the proposal so when clients with multiple jobs or estimates call in, it makes it easy for them to give the estimate number for the correct estimate they are calling about.

A clickable Google and Facebook review page
create a click button to leave reviews. Even a page with star that they can click on the stars and and it takes them to the google or Facebook reviews which ever the client wants.

When selecting a document to attach to an email add a column to display the internal note and description
When selecting a document to attach to an email, example, material orders, in the selection window, adding a column for internal notes or descriptions to allow quicker and better differentiation of said documents would save a ton of time.

Upload a pdf to a client file that can be sent directly to the client for their signature (like DocuSign)
Upload a pdf (ex. permit application that needs homeowners signature) to a client file that can be sent directly to the client for their signature through JobNimbus rather than having to go outside of Jobnimbus and use a third party like DocuSign.

Add only photos with notes to custom photo document.
Either a way to sort add or photos with notes to folder and then only use those photos in a custom photo document. Instead of scrolling through a hundred photos and trying to remember which ones have notes on them.

subcontractor access
I would like to onboard subcontractors and have everything filter to them in Jobnimbus through workorders, but currently there are issues with the restrictions / controls. As a company, we should be able to restrict what information a subcontractor can see...Right now, subcontractors can edit ALL FORMS if they are assigned a customer / work order. We do our inspections from "forms" and our job closeout (employees do this) using "forms"...it makes no sense for a subcontractor to be able to go in behind them and CHANGE A FORM?? Also, a subcontractor can change the status of a workorder...Our automations…

Relate payments and credit memos
When selecting the related option from the job level. The payments and credit memos will not show under the job. Only the invoice. It is also confusing when the related option is at the top of the page, as it seems like it's a filter for the entire page, not just the invoice section.

Automatically Add Form Responses in Documents
Currently, once Job Inspection Details are submitted, they are locked within the job record and cannot be emailed, shared, or sent to third parties such as insurance companies. This makes inspection data difficult to use outside of internal tracking, even when it contains critical photos and damage documentation.

Multi-Stage / Multi-Document Signing Workflow for Proposals & Contracts
Currently, JobNimbus supports only one signable document per email and does not allow conditional or sequential signing workflows. This creates friction for contractors who need customers to review and acknowledge a proposal, inspection report, or contingency agreement before signing a final priced contract.

Add photo markup tools to desktop (circles, arrows, text) to improve AI photo descriptions
Currently, photo markup tools (circles, arrows, text, etc.) are only available on the mobile apps, not on desktop. At the same time, desktop users can generate AI-written photo descriptions, but the AI often lacks context because there’s no way to visually indicate areas of focus on the image. Adding basic markup tools to the desktop experience would not only improve photo documentation, but also allow the AI to generate more accurate and useful descriptions based on highlighted areas. This would significantly improve usability and consistency between mobile and desktop workflows.

Searchable Photos
We use keywords in the notes of photos to make them searchable ie: "2 layers felt" "OSB" "permit" and now there is no search bar in the photos section. This is awful. And when you have hundreds of photos uploaded makes it impossible to find.
ALSO, when attaching photos or documents to an email they are not searchable either. I send emails to insurance with invoices and permits. I can't search documents for "permit" when trying to find it to attach to the email.
While some of the updates are okay, these small things that have been lost are crucial…

Add a print button to the new photo tools.
We add the notebook page with information about the job, how many vents we need to change, now to print that page i need to download it and print it.

Private photos for groups of people (not everyone) when making it private
We upload pictures of the checks and proof of payments collected from the customer. But these are accesible for the installers now. We need the option just like the contacts, where you can select what group of people can see certain photos so the subcontractors do not see the payments we receive from the customer and this information is not exposed, only available for the office.

Need to enable each document to option to delete it or to rename the document.
documents attached to emails that are forwarded to files are automatically uploaded into the document folder as scanned Scan2025-10-13114824. for example. This is agravating as you can't rename it. It must be downloaded renamed so it can be located by name. Now you have the prenamed Scan2025-10-13114824 in the file and it's confusing.

The new and improved photos doesn't show who uploaded the photo. That was very helpful, but no longer an detail we can see.

App Needs to Show Job Address on Photo
If a name is tagged on a photo and you follow the notification link on the web, it shows the address. However, on the app you are in the dark. The app needs to show the address associated with the photo.
Example: There is an issue that I need my PM to address. I tag him on the photo with details of what needs to be done. If he opens it on his phone, he has no idea where he needs to go since the app doesn't list the address.

Tracking proposals I send out for project managers
Hello! I send out proposals/agreements for our project managers and would love to be able to follow the progression of them being signed or not. How do I look up sent proposals/agreements I send out under the different PM's? Also, are we able to see if the client has even looked at the proposal yet?
