Option to make Built-In Fields Required/Mandatory (e.g. Lead Source)
Really need to be able to require specific fields in the contact & job information, ESPECIALLY lead source.

This is critical to our marketing department in regards to lead source.

100% with Trey below on the "Unassigned" sources inside the Insights. We've only been using JobNimbus for about a year or so, and we have more than 600 "Unassigned" sources.
It'd help if we could bulk edit lead sources to clear up the "Unassigned" ones, and/or set "Default Field Values" for the built-in fields for our team members.

Completely agree! Love that we have this required or not required option on custom fields, but on the built ins would be a huge value add. Anyone else tired of seeing "unassigned" inside of JobNimbus Insights? Then vote for this!!

I would like to be able to make the Sales rep and Assigned To field required when creating a contact.

It would be beneficial to be able to make the sales rep field required before saving the contact or job.

Would like to be able to require sales reps and other users to select a certain lead type before entering a new Contact or Job

We really need to be able to make default fields mandatory or not. Hope this will be available soon!

We also need the lead source field to be made required. For now, we have added a workaround by adding a customer field called "Lead Source Verification" and set the options in a dropdown. If the jobnimbus Lead source field is not filled out at least our sales team will be required to fill out our Lead Source verification field and that way in the future we can do bulk contact uploads to fill in that info.

Would love to be able to have Mandatory fields in the phone number, name, and email fields. We are using your system in order to help us with the touches to our clients and can not do that if our employees don't list that information. Making it mandatory would allow us the vital communication we are so desperately trying to improve on.

I would like to see a feature where I could make the default fields mandatory or not mandatory.

I have some zaps that require some fields to be filled out to transfer data from JN to a 3rd party site. Web I use my web form to fill out the data I don't have to worry about it, but if I fill out a new contact manually in JN and leave one of the required fields blank the zap fails. So it would be nice to be able to customize what fields are required.

It would be nice to have an option as to when the field is required. There are a lot of fields that I would make required if I could make it required after a certain status is met.

Yes agree! Pick and choose which preset JobNimbus fields you want to be required!

Please let us make lead source a required field.

Yes to all above and below my comment. Sales people struggle to enter customer info. so we need the option to make default contact fields mandatory just like we can make customer fields mandatory.

But please allow us to choose which of the built-in fields are required.

I have completely spaced the phone number quite a few times so I thought it was a good idea to make it a required field before you could save and go to the next screen when adding a new contact.

If we could make a field mandatory, while tracking anything in a system, it would help remind the teams to ask the question. This can also lead to false information, however, that would just be an option to choose from. The busier we get, the easier it is to forget certain details. This is important to us in marketing for tracking of how we spend our money and what leads are most effective, however, I know there are probably many fields that would be helpful for many different people depending on what their focus is!
