Ability to Duplicate (Contacts, Jobs)
As certain jobs are duplicated (i.e. repeats), it would be great to have a function that enabled duplication of jobs when creating a 'new' job rather than having to reenter the data.
Sometimes we need to add another contact from the same company, so duplicating all info and related items, etc and just changing the name.

commentedAs certain jobs are duplicated (i.e. repeats), it would be great to have a function that enabled duplication of jobs when creating a 'new' job rather than having to reenter the data. This is almost a daily process in my company. This is a real pain having to manually repeat steps. I have one client which we add buildings daily/weekly for inspections and repairs. Sometimes we need to add another contact from the same company, so duplicating all info and related items, etc and just changing the name.

Jason Niemi commented I wish there was an ability to copy an estimate from one contact to another without having to save it as a template

commentedPlanned since 2014?? This is very important. We do water damage restoration. When the dry-out/remediation portion is complete, I need to be able to close out and bill that portion, and create a new job for the repairs/reconstruction portion. I could create a new work order within the same job, but if dry-out bill is still in invoiced status, and we're already starting the repairs, I wont be able to change the job to "work in progress" status without messing up my collections status. So either having a sub-status to show both invoiced and work in progress at the same time, or I just need to create a whole new job for the repairs, and being able to duplicate all the information would be very helpful.

commentedI'm now getting this issue with tasks. I can't duplicate job tasks anymore. If this problem keeps persists, I may sadly be forced to move to a different database platform. A simple toggle option would do wonders.

commentedBefore I was able to make multiple jobs with the same name, but different job number. Just recently I'm not allowed to do this anymore. Is there a way to make duplicate job names? The unique identifier is usually our job number.

commentedThis feature have been on the task since 2014. 4 years later still can’t do this. Please add this feature as many of your JobNimbus contractors need it. Thank you.

commentedI like the ideas of duplicating information for jobs and work orders as others suggested in the comments. This would really help us be more efficient! Please consider!

commentedSometimes when going out for bid, I would like the function to duplicate a work order instead of re entering all of the information but for a different sub contractor.

commentedWould be great to be able to clone a Contact and all their info. E.g., we're not using Jobs, but have clients that are in our Build pipeline. Then after initial build is complete we need to create them again as Maintenance clients.

 commentedWe do property restoration work.
A lot of time, the one customer will have us do the Water Mitigation job and then have us do the Structure Repair job.
It would be a nice feature to be able to duplicate a job rather than having to re-type in all of the date again.

commentedIt would be nice to have the option to duplicate Work Orders. The reason is we split work up among our team and creating unique Work Orders becomes cumbersome.

commentedWhen you do a budget it would be good it they could be named and then be used as the job is in progress to monitor performance and the current financial position. To do this you would want a duplicate button so the budget could be updated and the ability to print out the budget produced would also be useful.

commentedSOMETIMES WE HAVE SEVERAL JOBS FOR THE SAME CONTACT. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO COPY A CONTACT AND CREATE A REPLICA OF THAT CONTACT AND THEN ADDING A DIFFERENT JOB ADDRESS.
