Sending Emails to customers with attachments should not be uploaded to the customer documents
With the new job experience, I’ve noticed that every time I email a customer their warranty documents and installation prep guide, those files are automatically uploaded to the customer’s document section. Since these are meant purely for reference and not for permanent storage, I end up manually deleting 4–7 documents per customer I schedule for installation.
We believe that only documents sent from customers should be uploaded to their file section—not the ones we send to them. This wasn’t an issue with the previous job experience, and reverting to that behavior would save time and reduce clutter. Everyone in the…1 vote -
Merge and Move Jobs
It would be very helpful if I had the ability to move a job from one contact to another. We recently had a QB syncing issue and had to create a new contact in JN in order to sync. We had to manually download all the notes, documents, financials, etc from all 3 of the customer's jobs. Then make new jobs under the new customer, and manually add all the notes and documents and photos back in. I had to pay my office manager to spend an entire day on this project.

Jobs on Calendar Multiple Weeks
For our roofing company for Tile and Metal jobs we do them in phases, so we have been having to create 2 separate jobs and it is screwing everything up. We would ideally be able to have ONE job that you can include multiple days/weeks on the calendar.
Example: Have it show for 8/18/25 - 8/20/25 then that same job back on the calendar for 9/2/25 - 9/5/25. That way it doesn't mess up our payroll or notes or anything and it all makes sense as to what happened with this job.

Autofill sales rep & assigned to in v2 of jobs
Currently the fields show up blank. It should be fairly straightforward to make them default to the rep creating the job

Additional Dynamic Fields for Jobs (Invoice Balance, Job Value, etc.)
Would like a way to easily see the job value and the balance of the job when you click into the job. I know we can set up the profit tracker but it would be very beneficial if in the details of the job we can put in the job value and balance.

Under status change have a pop up window to make comments - example one of our staus is pre -walk - would be great if we could add notes here instead of everything going into activity feed

Warning for moving a job to a status that triggers an automation
When moving a job to a status that will trigger an automation, a warning pop-up would be nice, just in case a user accidentally selects the wrong status.

Ability to Adjust Default View of Tasks on the New Jobs Experience
When navigating to a job in the New Jobs Experience and selecting the "Tasks" option, it defaults to show me "All" and I would like to be able to choose which one it defaults to instead. In this case, I want "Incomplete" to be visible first.

Being able to choose what contact information is populated in a NSE estimate
The issue we ran into is they had an old sales user who was no longer an active user and was replaced recently, and it took the system a second to refresh the contact information automatically populated on the estimate. It would be nice if there was simply a drop-down to select which user you would like to populate their contact information on the estimate.

Job view - customization of job creation
when creating a new job a lot of necessary fields and custom fields are not showing up. Is there a chance we can get a feature that lets us customize the job view depending on our necessities?

Limit access on work orders to change status but not edit or create.
We really need our subcontractors inside of jobnumbus to have access to change the status of a work order to complete, but for obvious reasons they need to not be able to edit or create work orders.

Be able to call all Contacts directly from the job (not just the primary contact) from the app
Currently, WHILE USING THE APP when there is more than one contact attached to a job you can only call the primary contact directly from that job (not the secondary contact). There is a work around which would be to go into "Details" and click on the secondary contact and call from there. However, the problem is that then the notes from that phone call store under the contact and not the job (we are aware to relate the contacts and then when in the job click the “related” button and from there all notes from any attached/related contacts or…

customer type box for color choices
When a customer Signs our "Contract" I want to be able to have a box that is required to be filled out that the customer would type in their color choices for roof, siding, gutters, etc... These items are crucial to have all in one spot for transparency and to cover ourselves due to discrepancies after install. This is a huge NEED

Create "trades", under jobs, that are able to be tracked in a Gantt chart.
Things right now are split between contacts and jobs. If you added a "trades" section that ties into the parent job, that ties into the parent contact, that would be ideal. A person calls, we add them as a client. We create a job to provide an estimate for what the client is looking for, and for the sales team to see where that lead goes. At some point the estimate is approved and "trades" are created. If the estimate was for roofing, siding, windows, and gutters then four trades are created for the production team to follow. Assign Job to Sales Rep Automatically
Currently, we'd have to setup an automation to create a task for someone to manually assign a sales representative. It would be awesome to be able to have leads automatically assigned to a sales rep based on the job type they handle. This may require the option to setup the type of trade each sales rep handles in their profile.

Multiple Workflows/Scopes under 1 Job
The ability to add different scopes of work that are associated with the same job but require different trades/crews and different schedules. For example, if we have a customer with 3 different types of roofing systems (shingles, metal accents, and TPO for their deck) there would be 3 different orders and 3 separate crews scheduled for those scopes. Or if we perform more work at the same location, for example if they build an addition 2 years after we replaced their roof, it would be helpful to be able to separate that scope of work from the original roof work.

Ipad App Crashing when inputing line Items from template
Ipad App Specific bug.. Increase the "Estimate Details" field to full screen while using the app.. Currently it is a pop up in center of the screen, if you accidently click the left or right sides outside the pop up, it will close the pop up and erase all data!
Add a "Save" button when inputing Estimate Details under the current options tab. You currently have to back out to layout to find the save button.1 vote -
