Automating the quoting experience from signing a SumoQuote...to generating a material order...and work order with the click of a button
We came over from Rooflink and were able to completely customize and automate the process from signed contract, to measurement report, material order and work order. All with a couple clicks. Of course we needed to confirm quantities and make some adjustments but the process was simple and repeatable for all reps. So easy that a new hire could complete it with little training. Duplicate (Jobs) with out copying documents
There is a feature to duplicate jobs already, however this feature duplicates over any documents to the new job you create, which can cause issues. Sometimes when creating a new job, it is for a previous address we have already done work for, especially for HOA's or Property Managers. In these cases, some information has or will not change (Ex: Roof Pitch, Roof Type, Shingle color/type)
As these types of jobs are duplicated (i.e. repeats), it would be great to duplicate the jobs when creating a 'new' job rather than having to reenter the data, that does not pull over…

Be able to call all Contacts directly from the job (not just the primary contact) from the app
Currently, WHILE USING THE APP when there is more than one contact attached to a job you can only call the primary contact directly from that job (not the secondary contact). There is a work around which would be to go into "Details" and click on the secondary contact and call from there. However, the problem is that then the notes from that phone call store under the contact and not the job (we are aware to relate the contacts and then when in the job click the “related” button and from there all notes from any attached/related contacts or…

Not Require Adding a Phone Number and Email when adding a Contact.
On JobsV2 I would like to be able to add a contact without having to add a phone number and email. We don't always have that information available when we get a new lead.

Have the option to assign a sales rep to a contact when creating a Job in Jobsv2
I would like the option to assign a sales rep to both the contact and the job when creating a job in JobsV2. This way the sales rep would be able to see the name of the contact.

Print a PDF of a signed or blank proposal.
Need the ability to print a signed or blank proposal. Some older folks want a paper contract to look at or have for records after the work is completed.

Select certain photos to download or print without having to download them all and click on each individual photo.

Change job name default
Add the option to change the default job name from the address in jobs v2. This is preventing them from showing in the search bar when searching the contact name.

Connecting attachments to new jobs from old jobs
Maybe like a move files option or a dialog box pops up like when you merge a job but you just do the photos? Or work orders or whatever? It would also be handy for when we have warranty jobs because the sales person always wants to look at the original work order and photos to see what we did last time.

It would be helpful to have an official change order template for when the approved estimate needs adjusting per the client's request or when new discoveries are made to the job that impact the original bid.

Related Contacts view on Job page
I like the new layout on jobs showing the related contacts on the right. Can we have the Primary contact still highlighted in green. Also, include the status to show if it's active/inactive. It would be cool to also have the icon of the Sales Rep or assignee on it in a little circle icon; similar to how it's laid out on the board cards

Option to customize the display bubbles of contacts on the job.
Specifically the option to change the colors of the bubble to more colors than just green or greyed-out.
Also the option to add critical notes or the standing of the customer. Some customers we just never want to work with ever again, and it'd be nice to have a way to clearly label that without having it in the display name (which can show up in other places such as estimates/emails/etc).2 votes -
Private Job Fields
We need the ability to have some job fields viewable to certain team members but not all. Can't have the reps seeing all of the job fields.

Create a job section for notes only. Notes get lost within all of the activity updates.
If there was a dedicated notes section in each job, it would be easy to see all progress within the notes.

job email
Can we get each job set up with it's own email address? I do a lot of commercial work and I have different project managers for each job. On every new job I email a document, I have to change the person's name and email address on the contact's fields.

JOBS users that dont use CONTACTS for certain features should be able to block/disable those features
We need the ability to prevent notes, emails, tasks, files, and financials from being created on the contact, and only created on JOBS.
In our company, we track everything through the job itself and not the CONTACT. Sometimes the employee ends up on the CONTACT details and starts to create these items thinking they are on the JOB, and then mistakes begin to happen because they thought it was noted, or an email sent, and there is no evidence of it on the job for other team members.
This could be at the account level or from ACCESS PROFILES

Pop-Ups
There should be an ability to add a forced Pop-Up to Jobs/Customers. For example, if we have a customer who cannot be called before 9:00 AM, then I want to be able to have a pop-up appear whenever that contact or job is added that says "Do Not Call Before 9:00AM". Or if the customer has to pay via check or cash, then I would like to be able to create a pop-up for that account to notify anyone who opens it that that is the case.

Duplicate Estimates Between Jobs
When you have an estimate that is already written but either put on the contact or under the wrong job you should be able to duplicate it and choose the job you want it to go to. Instead of it just duplicating directly into same job and place. Duplication is not useful with out being able to move it.
