Option to Update Automation Before Firing
Have a pop-up come up to let the person changing the status know that an automated task is going to be sent, and have the option to add details/notes to that automation (and maybe even an option to prioritize that automation) They should not be able to remove the automated task, but be able to add some additional details.

I disagree. Try to automate a reminder to assign a task to someone, and then add the details and notes that you need.
