Disable note editing option
Disable the ability to edit notes after they're created. We would rather have too much information on our jobs than have information go missing.3 votes
Team Member CSV Upload
Please make CSV upload available for users. This would be most beneficial for new customers who are inputting new users. I just finished inputting over 100 users and would have found this very beneficial.4 votes
Have the option to turn off the view for uploaded documents
In Access Profile, I would like an option, to turn off the access to view uploaded documents. I created a JobNimbus account for my subcontractor and don't want to give him access to this type of info.2 votes
Access to Delete Products and Servive,
User would like to have access to delete products and services and not just hide them.34 votes
Send Subcontractor Calendar Invites
Add the ability to send a calendar invite with tasks or workorders. Subcontractors currently only receive emails and it would be better if a calendar invite was sent, if even as an attachment, in the email notification, so the subcontractor can easily add the assignment to their calendar.12 votesViewed · 1 comment · Subcontractors · Admin →
Setting to adjust the default payment terms.
Please add a setting to adjust the default payment terms on your invoices.15 votes
Categories for Products and Services - Group
It would be very helpful to have categories for products and services. Since the list is purely alphabetical, it can be difficult to pull up and item when generating an estimate when you have a large item list. It would be nice to beable to group them together by type.15 votes
Automation option to allow a Job to be created when a customer is created
Since we have enabled the "job option", it would nice to create a Job automatically when we create a customer. This would be done via an automation rule. Currently the option only allows creation of a Task.21 votesViewed · 4 comments · Automation · Admin →
Update templates when Products & Services change
Currently, we use a few different estimate, work order, and material order templates. If we update our cost in the system, the template remains at the old costs. This means re-creating the templates often.
It would be nice if the templates pulled from current cost/pricing.36 votes
Automation to Create Job on Contact Status Change
I would love to create an automation that when a contact is moved to a certain status it can trigger the automation to create a job. For example I have a status of sold in contacts and when I move the contact to that status it automatically creates a job for that contact.11 votes
Ability to Include Attachments in Automation Emails
It would be nice when status is changed to "Paid and Complete" an automated email sends out of my warranty paperwork and all viable, my selection, documents needed for customer61 votesViewed · 4 comments · Automation · Admin →
Add Email Addresses In Automations
JobNimbus absolutely needs to be able to send email automation to "Additional Recipients". The current parameters trap you inside of JobNimbus NOT allowing to send email to a designated email address outside of users or contacts etc. This is a must if we are to alert our field techs without them being a user.28 votesViewed · 5 comments · Automation · Admin →
Sorting, Grouping, and Tagging for Automation Rules
We've got dozens of rules in our automation settings and there's many dozens more we're going to create. It would be great to be able to group them based on the client type or other criteria, then sort so that the order matches the workflow as it would make that particular rule so much easier to find when editing. Then perhaps also colour tag different rules within the groups, which could be useful to easily differentiate between status updates, email actions, PA task actions, sales rep task actions, etc.20 votesViewed · AdminJobNimbus (Product Manager, JobNimbus) responded
We’ve released an update that alphabetizes all automation rules. This should get you started with keeping your rules together, but we’ll be working on future updates that will improve automation organization going forward. Stay tuned!
Permissions for Adding/Editing Products & Services
Over time our number of estimate items grows, because various people add new items to estimates. I would like to control who has access to creating new items for estimates.45 votes
Ability to keep track of sub contractor's insurance
It would be great if we had to ability to keep track of subcontractors licenses, insurance and certifications. I'd like the ability to store the documents with the sub contractor.
Most important would be email notifications on pre-defined intervals about expiring documents, so we would have warning in order to obtain new certs, etc..
I just moved from a competing product that had this feature and it was one of the only good things I can say about it.20 votes
Create More Restrictive Access Profile
We would like our crew chiefs to have access to job records for a day, they would be assigned to the record. They would only have access to take pictures directly into the job record. At the end of the day, they would be unassigned. If there are issues with the install, we would like them to send the crew chiefs a work order with photos impeded of the problem58 votes
Show Jobs Assigned on Subcontractor Contact Page
Itt would be really nice if when viewing a contact that has the "subcontractor" parameter marked, any jobs where the subcontractor is listed as the subcontractor in "Subcontractor" Field would appear on their contact page. The result would be similar to how the jobs appear for any contact listed as a "Related Contact" on a job.
Reason: I want to be able to pull up my subcontractor's contact page and quickly view all open jobs that subcontractor is currently doing for us. This can be beneficial for billing purposes, phone conversations with the subcontractor and more.10 votesViewed · AdminJobNimbus (Product Manager, JobNimbus) responded
Definitely something we’ll be doing!
Automate Status Change of Child Records (Change WO Status when Job status is changed)
Our Sales Rep creates his WO's right after haveing a contract signed. The Production Manger authorizes them later in the workflow after a Job approval process. When the rep creates the WO's they start in a pending status. When the Manager later authorizes the Job it would be nice to have the status on all WO's change the status to the next WO status. (for example "authorized). This would allow us to create a board that starts tracking the WO at "authorized" and have all the WO's show up automatically. This is currently how we do it but the Manager has to go in and manually change the status on all WO's. Would be great to have an automation for this that triggers when the Job is set to Authorized Status.

Color Coding for Workflow Types
Color coding is quite a blessing to the eyes. I find myself applying it to my everyday to visually see what's in front of me and my mind being able to sort of the different categories. It would be awesome to see Job Nimbus allow this for tasks, jobs, calendar... to apply what my tasks/jobs/events best falls under.
Set colors by workflow type for jobs, tasks, contacts, etc. Have those colors be assigned automatically based on the type that is chosen for the record.28 votesViewed · 7 comments · Workflows · Admin →
