Automation option to allow a Job to be created when a customer is created
Since we have enabled the "job option", it would nice to create a Job automatically when we create a customer. This would be done via an automation rule. Currently the option only allows creation of a Task.

I thought this might be useful initially... but I've come to realize that the ideal solution would be to lock certain users out of being able to add or take away any information from CONTACTS.
Contacts and Jobs are so similar that users have a hard time distinguishing between them at a glance, and estimates/invoices/other documents end up being placed in the contact instead of the Job they go with.

or it might be prudent to create the task (appointment) first, then JN can create the contact and job from this info?

so what happens if you create the wife as the initial lead and then she asks to have the husband added. Automatically creates a job for husband? maybe an option to "copy information to Job" button so you can choose when to create a job from a customer.

I have to manually enter in the phone number for every job task.
I think it would be extremely efficient if the contact information was transferred to the job when one is created directly from the contact.
Information such as the email and phone number are not connected but the address and name automatically are seen as soon as a job is created.
Please Help with this
