This is an extremely necessary change, we need to see all the communication in the single location under the contact/job. Having it separated is a pain point.

It would be awesome if you could quickly see the text conversation natively in the Contact or Job (both preferably) without leaving the Job. Sending messages is still fine going to Engage but for our users that are not "Assigned" the conversation, it's very difficult to navigate to the Engage thread. Even just adding Search for Job Name or Customer Name would help.
You can currently view outgoing Automated Texts in the Activity Feed using the Activity Drop Down menu to "Text Messages" but that does not include any manual sent/received texts.
Potential solution? Duplicate the incoming/outgoing texts into the Activity Feed. Alternatively, create a separate Tab (Documents, Photos, Financials area).

This is a high priority level worthy request. For anyone using the Jobs portion of JobNimbus, this is critical for those who have separate Job entries for repeat annual service visits; customers who are property management companies; customers who have multiple rental properties, etc. Any recorded communication through Engage/text should be recorded under the Job it pertains to, and not lumped in under the Contact with all the other text conversations. A property management company may be the Contact, with several Jobs for different properties under it, which themselves could have a different sales rep/estimator/tech assigned to. So imagine 4 active Jobs with 3 different sales reps/estimators/techs/etc. working them, all texting at different times, same times, etc. There’s no way to keep it orderly if text communications from any/all Jobs are lumped/dumped under the Contact. Currently, it doesn’t look like there’s a way to know which Job the text conversation applies to.

Some customers have multiple jobs, so posting to the specific job would be helpful. Only posting in the contact activity log leads to just run on conversations with no reference to what job and no idea to what it is referring. I currently have a customer who is also a sub-contractor, so his contractor conversations are showing up along next to his job conversations. It's a mess.

I would like to text through the customers job/contact and not have to go back and forth to the engage tab. I would like that info to stay with the customer info.
