Phone Number Field in Jobs
When creating a jobs I would like a area to enter the persons phone number so it can appear on the top of the page when I am looking at the job. I don't want to click on contact to pull up a number.
Good news! We are planning to improve this functionality in an upcoming release. Phone numbers (and other contact information) from the related Contacts will be displayed prominently on the Job view screen. This will mean you no longer have to click into the Contact from the Job to find the phone number or email address.
We expect this update to release in the next 30 days.

Huge upvote on this one! And please make click-to-call available from within the job as well on the mobile app. When I assign a job to a salesperson, I have to go in and assign the contact as well, because we have it set to where the users can only see their assigned info. It makes for a lot of duplicated effort and extra (should be unnecessary) busy work.
Side note--I did create a job field for both the phone number and the email address, so I have to add them manually every time I create a job (which is EVERY) time, and at least they are VISIBLE on the job...but this still does not make it "callable" through the mobile app unless the contact is assigned to the salesperson.
This might actually be a separate request, come to think of it....

When using jobs we would like to see all related contacts in the main contact to automatically attach to the new job created. Since there is no option to have more than 1 active email for each contact, we have to manually attach related contacts to each job if sending to say a project mgr and a regional and then a also if invoices go to a different email.

Show contact phone number and email address on the job so we don't need to access the contact record to get the phone number and email address.

When adding a job based of a contact, the data for that contact autopopulates, doesn't work the other way around, linking a contact to a job doesn't autopopulate the data, this would be a great feature and is something BuilderTrend has

Yes, however, it would help if the main number (or mobile number) would populate. AND another field to add a different/extra that doesn't auto-populate in case one needed for the job. So 2 fields

The calendar used to provide the contact information, such as telephone number and email. Why did this disappear? Who deemed this unimportant and removed it from view? It appears to be relevant to many users

When you create a Job, the contacts phone number is not on the Job page. Needs to auto populate!

Have Contact name, email, phone auto populate Job Owner Name, email and phone. It's a pain to have to duplicate this info manually.

Please give the OPTION to "auto-fill" the Contact address into the Job screen. Often our Contacts have a different billing address than the Job they've hired us for. Because of this and the auto-import feature, I often overlook the need to CHANGE the address which screws things up... and is embarrassing when I do. If I can't CHOOSE to auto-fill, I would rather it NOT auto-fill.

This would be such a nice touch! It is a pain to have to click off the job page to get the contacts info when you need to have the Job info for your conversation.

Constantly having to hit back key when I want to switch from contact card to job task.
Notifications sent to my Outlook will open a contact in a new window so why not have this feature while working directly on the desktop?

Let me add to this by saying, I realize that you can click on the green box with the primary contact and see that info, but it only shows up on the activity tab. It would be great to be able to just glance up and see that info at the top of the screen with the other job information. But the biggest upside for us would be that those fields would be available to push into our documents within Natural Forms at the job level.

Inside a job, I would like to see the primary contact's name, phone #, email address, etc. This would make things easier because you wouldn't have to leave the job screen to get that info. Plus, I am a Natural Forms user, and I cannot import those fields into my forms because they do not exist at the job level.

Please make it possible for the phone number to be carried over to the job address. When I look at my jobs there is no phone number under the homeowners name and address.
When I click add job to a contact the phone number is not carried over to the job screen.
