An error occurred while saving the comment Amber Sonoran Waters commentedAgreed.
I created custom fields for recording additional emails, but this does not help when needing to send an email to multiple addresses, as only the primary field can be selected when emailing.
QuickBooks allows this...and if the emails are entered into the QB contact then it does sync over to JN...but if the email is edited in JN, it will not allow us to save the contact that way.
And not everyone uses QB (or has two-way sync).

An error occurred while saving the comment Amber Sonoran Waters commentedAgreed, we need to be able to select a subcontractor in the "To" field drop-down when sending an email, especially if they're already assigned to the contact. Why would they not show up in 2. ASSIGNEES?
The fact that we can't add attachments to work orders makes this even more needed.

An error occurred while saving the comment Amber Sonoran Waters commentedI came here to make the work order comment that Eric Broome did, but I found this in the process.
I agree about not having to first upload to JobNimbus to be able to attach documents...while I do like having a centralized place for important documents, not all attachments need to be kept in the record.

Can we please make it so all that is needed is a checkmark for a taxable line, and the city is pulled from the address in the estimate after the subtotal? The checkmark should actually feed over automatically if it is checked in the product/item and not need to be selected every time when building an estimate.

An error occurred while saving the comment Amber Sonoran Waters commentedI see that this request is 4 years old, and I know the email function was recently updated -- and I will create a new suggestion if I need to but I'm trying this one first because it's along the same lines.
As of today 2/18/21 in the new email format where the email addresses are at the top...
We can manually type in an email address, but if the contact exists somewhere in Nimbus (e.g. a Subcontractor), it should pop up as we start to type it. So, as Michael requested above--a "lookup field."
Thanks.

An error occurred while saving the comment Amber Sonoran Waters commented@roof911 agreed...it appears it was viewed over 3 years ago.
Do you know if new comments bring it back up on JobNimbus' dashboard? If not, I will post a new suggestion for this one as well as for editing the default on sending financial docs. Very important stuff--it's how we show up to our clients!
(yeah I know this doesn't actually @mention anyone...but I think maybe you get an email alert or something because you commented before? I'm new here lol)

An error occurred while saving the comment Amber Sonoran Waters commentedOr how do we edit the Default email that is already created for sending invoices/estimates? With the ability to add short codes like the other email templates? It's not in the Settings that I can see....

An error occurred while saving the comment Amber Sonoran Waters commentedAgreed...I've had to start using tasks instead of mentions because they get lost easily in the shuffle, and if it can't get answered "right now," it doesn't likely get answered at all...but *I* need to see it in the Activity tab, so I have to duplicate work and write a note that I made a task anyway.
A quick and easy way for a user to see a list of all their @mentions in one place would be helpful.

Good news! We are planning to improve this functionality in an upcoming release. Phone numbers (and other contact information) from the related Contacts will be displayed prominently on the Job view screen. This will mean you no longer have to click into the Contact from the Job to find the phone number or email address.
We expect this update to release in the next 30 days.
Amber Sonoran Waters supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Amber Sonoran Waters commentedHuge upvote on this one! And please make click-to-call available from within the job as well on the mobile app. When I assign a job to a salesperson, I have to go in and assign the contact as well, because we have it set to where the users can only see their assigned info. It makes for a lot of duplicated effort and extra (should be unnecessary) busy work.
Side note--I did create a job field for both the phone number and the email address, so I have to add them manually every time I create a job (which is EVERY) time, and at least they are VISIBLE on the job...but this still does not make it "callable" through the mobile app unless the contact is assigned to the salesperson.
This might actually be a separate request, come to think of it....

An error occurred while saving the comment Amber Sonoran Waters commentedThis will also be very helpful for when you have more than one email address for a job or supplier, etc; e.g. husband and wife as individual/related contacts. The job will only allow you to email from the primary contact; it doesn't give you the option of choosing one or the other. (Mobile app)

I'm looking for exactly this thing. I have two tasks tied to a single automation based on a status change, but the salesperson skipped marking that status so the automation never got triggered. I could move it back in and out real quick, but it's been in its current status for too many days for me to want to do that; I like to keep the "days in status" as accurate as possible.
