  1. Profit Tracker Templates

    Have the ability to save manually entered sections in the profit tracker as reusable section templates that can be imported. For example, I manually enter sections for 'Materials' 'Labor' 'Disposal' 'Equipment' etc and then add separate line items as needed, so it would be very efficient to be able to save those sections and import them when I set up a new job profit tracker.

  2. Display last updated

    Display 'Last Updated' with the date and user that last updated the profit tracker.

    Also having the ability to close/create new profit trackers would be helpful for additional scopes that aren't related to the main project but are still related the the address/client/job that you don't want included in the revenue/payments.

  3. Notes + Attachments

    Being able to make a note/tag a team member on the profit tracker would be helpful when there are questions/update requests regarding the job financials. And maybe having the ability to attach related documents like the estimate you are working off of and/or copies of the invoices received for materials/extras etc.

  4. Amount Billed

    Right now you can only view the overall amount we will be paid for a specific job/project once we are 100% complete with the work (planned revenue) and the total amount of payments that we've received and applied to that job (actual revenue). You can't currently see what we've billed the client for to date on the profit tracker and that would be helpful for larger, more complex jobs that require progress invoices/draws. Maybe having the option to switch the tracker from cash to accrual basis or adding a separate metric that displays the running total billed to date would…

  5. Turn off automated email for deposit request

    When we've signed estimates in the home with the customer, received a paper check in person, it still automatically sends the depost request after signing. I've had two customers call in a panic this week alone. There should be the ability to stop that from sending when the payment has been collected. Toggling off the deposit does not solve the problem becasue we need it on the signed contract that the deposit is required. In addition there is no way in JN to send a PDF proof of payment that we recieved in person to the homeowner. This figure needs…

  6. Send PDF receipt for payments

    When a homeowner gives us a check directly instead of using JNP, there should be an option to be able to send or print them a PDF confirmation/recepit of payment.
    Currently I have to go into Quickbooks, save a payment receipt and upload that to Jobnimbus. On the Legacy system we use to have the feature to send a receipt.

  7. cogs/margin on insurance jobs

    In order to have insurance job financial information captured in insights we have to create insurance estimates, which we typically just list the total for work we're performing in a single line item. The bottom widget just assumes a 30% margin (our lowest possible setting) and therefore creates an inaccurate margin for the job. It'd be nice to be able to turn this calculation off on insurance estimates since it's inaccurate and we don't know the true margin until we've supplemented the job - and we'd like to have accurate understanding of average margin on jobs throughout the year.

  8. Credit Card Fees & Profit Tracker

    The profit tracker does NOT take into account what the credit card fees are, only the total amount the customer paid. Example: Customer paid invoices by credit card for a total of $1,520.20 which is what the profit tracker shows. $49.29 of that is credit card fees. Therefore the profit tracker shows a surplus of $49.29.

    Currently, to find the credit card fees I have to go see how they made their payment, open the payment tab, search their date of payment, find their payment, add their fees together, and the add them to my profit tracker as an expense…

    When signing is turned off on a simple estimate, I would like to be able to add footer notes. I would also like to be able to add multiple emails for sending when signing is turned off as well.

    Although the functionality originated from a bug, it became a valuable part of our daily workflow by allowing ACH payment requests without full invoice edit access. Maintaining a clear separation between project management and accounting is essential for us, and granting invoice edit permissions to PMs introduces risk. Without a payments‑only permission, our process is slowed, so a dedicated option to send payment requests without invoice editing would greatly improve efficiency.

    We would like commissions in the Profit Tracker to be visible only to the assigned Sales Representative and Admin, while all other assigned team members can view the Profit Tracker without seeing commission amounts.

  14. Add a custom page to Simple Estimate

    For the fencing industry it's crucial to attach a drawing of the plan but we don't always need a full proposal like the standard estimating mode. It would be a great improvement to be able to add a custom PDF page to the simple estimates.

    In legacy estimates there used to be a field called Date signed that was filled when the document was esigned, but that has been abandoned since the sumo quote integration. Now there is no way to expose the actual date that a job is sold. This is extremely frustrating and I have asked in a variety of different ways so I am spamming user voice in every related place.   16. Pictures on the "Simple Estimate Mode"

    With the new Simple estimate mode, it would be amazing to have a spot to add an image or images. We primarily use the Simple mode for change orders or repairs but would like to attach images to show the areas that we will be doing work on.

  17. Void Expired Estimate

    I would love the option to have an estimate automatically voided when a job is moved to lost sales, or at least be able to set up an automation that voids estimates if xyz requirements are met. We have had situations where a customer signed an old contract instead of the updated pricing estimate months later by finding the email and getting the new link sent to her and being able to sign.   18. Deactivate or Hide Estimates

    It would be amazing if there was a way to either hide or deactivate an estimate instead of completely deleting them. Especially now with all the JobNimbus updates. Another reason for this is if we want to try a new concept or strategy, we can turn off the old estimate templates or layouts to try the new ones.

  20. Default Internal Note on Estimate Templates

    Would it be possible to include a default internal note when we design estimate layouts? On certain types, I'd like to include things like "Inspection Report", "Emergency Services", or "Insurance Contingency Agreement" so when we look at all the estimates on a job, it makes it a little bit easier on our team.
