   I just asked about this and was told things that are hard coded into the existing templates cannot be changed. I'd like to create a template from scratch with the ability to put whatever wording I want for the Item without having it saved as a Product & Service every time. Ad-hoc estimates are critical to any business. The ability to create our own templates for Material Orders, estimates, etc... with features we need is critical.

    The “Description” field on Contacts and Jobs is sometimes used as a “permanent note” that always stays at the top, but your idea will be great to have alongside that to make notes more dynamic and useful.
