Improved Share / Client Portal

Hey team,

What I'm about to show you is top secret information. :) Thank me later.

JN is not the only CRM out there. But, I cancelled my other CRM because I love the simplicity of JN. Nevertheless, JN NEEDS to give the ability for us contractors to put a LOGIN section on our website to allow customers to login and view certain details about their projects.

When customers login to their client portal, this should be the first thing they see --> https://www.screencast.com/t/b89Gqn8cuOty or see attached image. I should get an award medal for this sh*t! :)

This is a great example, thank you for sharing! We have many of these same ideas for improving our existing share feature and are working towards that.

    It seems this hasn't had any new comments in a couple of years, but this does feel like like a very critical need. Other CRMs do this much better and we are going to loose business if JobNimbus can't keep up.

    I would like to see a customer portal available so the customer can see the notes and documents. Acculynx and monday have this feature and keeps the customer uptodate and reduces time for follow ups.

    This is a critical feature I think JN needs to add as it will start losing customers over lack of accessible features.

    Part 2:

    I'm 100% familiar with the 'share feature' and that feature is absolutely not a client portal.

    I loose business if i can't offer this.

    Howdy from Texas,

    As a follow up to this 2018 comment, i'm choosing between going with JobNimbus or a competitor for my business. The competitor offers a white label customer login like this. JobNimbus doesn't seem to but i'm searching around in the hopes there is something...

    Can someone tell me if JobNimbus offers this yet? I'm 90% sold but this is a deal breaker for me.

    The Share feature needs to become a true "CLIENT PORTAL". I see 63 votes on this subject and a response from a product manager at JN back in Sept 20218 stating that "We are working towards that", but it has almost been 2 years since that statement so what is the status on this. As a commercial roofing contractor we NEED a true client portal for our customers.

    I agree this is a great idea as far as the award is concerned since that is a direct copy of what buildertrend does I think they did all the hard work on that. That being said I also moved over from another CRM (any guesses witch one) because I liked many of the features and control of Jobnimbus but do miss the customer portal feature

    This is a great feature, But what about fixing basic things like allowing us to bold and add color to the
    description section, since is the only way to organize and display the most relevant information?
    not to mention that the status of a job is lost if we change it to action required status, please lets sort priorities!

    In Builder Trend they had this really cool customer page where you could show them the schedule, collaborate on materials(selections), and view photos of their projects progress and share on social media outlets. We were going to switch to them for this reason but missed JobNimbus too much so came back. I would LOVE this feature.

    Also, In the jobber video (in the link above) it shows that in the portal there is a way to request for new work which is a pretty cool and handy feature

    I tested the share feature and it is a good start.
    The problem is when we create an estimate and save it as a draft it still gets automatically uploaded to the shared section. There should be a way to unshare that.

    Also, all work order and material lists get automatically uploaded, which should have an option to be private as well.

    Finally if something is shared to the client it would be helpful to have a way of knowing what is shared. Like a marker or icon that shows they can view it, and an easy way for all shared documents and notes to be unshared at any time.
