Custom email subject & content when emailing (estimates, documents, etc)
When E-mailng a Document that was created in job It would be nice to be able to create the default email body text and also add an email recipient that is not listed as a related contact. '
I am trying to create a Job Order Form for my sales reps, Then send the Job Order Document to my Distributor.
after receiving a partial payment, we like to email our clients an updated invoice/statement. It would be nice to be able to customize the email message, so we could say something like Thank your for your payment, attached is an updated statement. Instead of just sending the invoice with no commentary and then make them figure out what/why we are sending. The other suggested way is to save the statement/invoice and send from our own system, but this takes additional time when it would just be easier to send from the system and would take up less room on my computer
You are now able to use email templates and custom subjects when sending estimates, invoices, work orders and material orders from a contact or job within JobNimbus.

I wish we could customize the content in the template email when sending directly from a document.

the Templates are nice but would be nice if when going to send the invoice or estimate that you could just type in a small personalized statement or paragraph in the body of the email. Like "Hello Marc, As discussed we removed the window screens from the estimate, let me know if you have any questions"

I wish Job Nimbus had the same emailing options when emailing a "document" to customers, similar to the functionality of emailing estimates, material orders, invoices, and work orders. Those allow you to add other email address and at least utilize an email template.

It's great we can build templates for these, however:
1) We should be able to update the default so we don't have to bother selecting from a drop down (unless we decide to have multiple templates for one type of email, i.e. invoices)
2) This isn't an option for sending documents, which is important to us as we email contracts to all clients.
3) We should be able to update the subject line, and finally...
4) I love the idea of adding a personalized message to the email as an option
I will be submitting this as a new request. Thanks!

My supplier does not care what the name of the job is he cares where he needs to send my request for material based on location. Is there a way to edit the subject to include city, state or general edit of the subject for material order when sending to what my supplier needs to track or categorize my orders in his system?

In both document and financial sections, emailing a contract or invoice I can't send a personalized message it just auto sends with attachment

I like to have the ability to personalize an email when sending the PDF estimate. Sure, I can go back to the contact and do that, but why not do it right when I save the estimate, by going to Edit>Send Estimate???

For all of my automated emails I use templates I built in mailchimp so we can have the same image across all platforms when we communicate with our client, its a shame we don't have that option right from the beginning when we present the client their estimate.

When we send out estimates, we need to include a little blurb for our customers to read. We do this by using the custom email templates and "add Note". This works great, however once the estimate becomes a work order, it won't transfer to QB because the estimate is still in draft status. We send out a large volume of estimates and this will be very difficult to stay on top of manually. Is there any way we can tie this all together? Either, allow us to customize the email sent via "Email Estimate" or allow the "Add Note" email update the estimate status. Thanks!

This would also be hugely helpful if the subject line could also be auto-populated depending on which email template is chosen. Seems like that's what was suggested above, but wanted to be sure!
