  1. Projected budget vs Actual budget

    It would be great to have an option for to do a projected budget vs an actual budget. This would allow you to create a projected budget with numbers you think you would need for a job. This way I don't have to make sure to go back in and change the numbers once job is being finalized. It can be confusing, if we're putting projected cost vs actual costs.

  3. Payment Receipts

    Ability to send a payment receipt after its added to jobnimbus. Doesn't need invoice information, just a simple receipt that its been received.

  4. Multi-Location Estimate Gating

    We would like to be able to restrict/assign which templates are available to which locations and/or groups. This would greatly benefit the scalability of the system without it being as cluttered as it is now.

  6. Section total at the bottom of the section

    Currently when we put a new section on the estimate it shows the total for that section at the top. I would like the option to show the section total at the bottom of the section.

  7. Disable payments per invoice

    I would like to turn off the Global Payments option on an individual invoice instead of having to turn it off in settings for the whole account

  9. Custom Status for Financial Documents (Estimates, Work Orders, etc)

    Would really like to have the ability to create custom statuses (maybe even rename some existing) for Estimates. Lots of different use cases I'll list a few more critical for our operations.

    • The ability to have an "on hold" or "future re-bid" type status for an estimate that needs to be followed-up on in the future.
    • The ability to have an "options" or "not selected" type status for when we present multiple bids (good, better, best) or multiple phases (broken into individual estimates) to a customer and they select one, but we don't want to mark the others as denied…

  10. Bulk Price List Uploading

    So, why doesn't JN have a place in settings to create and upload your price lists? We should be able to upload a bulk price list in settings and when you want to create an estimate in a job you can create templates there after you build an estimate, but your bulk price list would be in there already. Most programs have a bulk upload feature to build the price list with all your items first.

  12. Customizable Signature Line

    I have a commercial property owner who would like to electronically sign their contracts, but would like to add the title "managing member" under his name, but not have that part of the signature. it would be great if we could edit the signature area and add titles under the signature line.

  13. Allow Subcontractor and/or Other Costs in Estimates SEPARATE from Labor and Material Cost

    There needs to be a way to enter subcontractor cost, totally separate from labor and material, to line items in a bid/estimate. If I include subcontractor costs as labor or material in my estimates, it throws off the budget numbers. This is a very basic function of bidding and estimating.

  16. Monthly Payment Options

    Create a calculation for estimated financing options using amortized loan equation. Let the Nimbus user enter in the rate (r) and term length (n). Set a function to import the estimate total (P) into the equation. The (A) would be the box that shows the monthly payment on the estimates.

    Here's the equation:

    A = Payment amount per period

    P = Initial principal or loan amount (in this example, $10,000)

    r = Interest rate per period (in our example, that's 7.5% divided by 12 months)

    n = Total number of payments or periods

  18. Add/ Change an Invoice status name

    Would like to be able to change the preset invoices status. I would like it to say PAID instead of closed or even be able to add it as a status.
