   We use a lot of estimate Templates with products already typed in. Same with material orders.

   As it stands, if we update a price under "Products", it does NOT update the price on the template.

   It would be great if the templates refreshed and grabbed the updated pricing from the Product itself

    This definitely seems like something we would do as part of “Company” support where if only a Company name is added, then it would change to a Company icon rather than a Contact icon.

    Good news!  We are planning to improve this functionality in an upcoming release.  Phone numbers (and other contact information) from the related Contacts will be displayed prominently on the Job view screen.  This will mean you no longer have to click into the Contact from the Job to find the phone number or email address.
