    Is there a way to set up budget templates that can be used to budget for different types of products?

    Right now, you’re able to create a budget from an estimate, and we do have “Saved Estimates” so if you build the Budget from the estimate, then you can technically do this, but we’ll look into supporting this feature.

  2. More User-Friendly Template Formatting

    The templates really need to be easier to format in certain sections. Under the special instructions, it is really time consuming right now and should be much easier to use.

    It would be great if it was much easier to use.

  3. Email, Print, or PDF for Budget

    Currently there is no option to email, print or pdf a job budget which is very beneficial in forwarding to your salesforce. The work around is a printscreen which unfortunately captures everything on the screen and is not very professional. We have a Snag It program that we can use to capture just the budget flow to make things better but it would really save time if the program has this option automatically.

  4. Budget Naming

    Would be helpful to be able to manually assign a name to the budget. Currently it automatically assigns a budget number. We would like to break out our trades and create a separate budget for each (ie paint, gutters, siding). We are able to do this by creating new budgets for each, but under the financials tab the budgets are listed by the assigned number, therefore we have to go into each one to see which trade that budget is for.

  5. Link Work Order to Job Scheduling

    If it would be possible to schedule a job directly from the work order, this would eliminate the double entry work of creating a work order and then scheduling the actual job/task.

    Hi Janice!

    I’d like to know a bit more about what you’re looking for here. Is it that you want to be able to schedule on a work order (already possible) but have it pass over to the parent job (currently not possible)?

    Let me know if that sounds about right or if I’ve got it wrong, and we’ll see what we can do to help out.

  6. Add Cost, Price, Totals to Work and Material Order Tools

    Create a new checkbox for the top administrative portion when creating Work Order and Material Order templates. This would be "Cost" (what the manufacturer charges, per line item), and would be accompanied by a total Cost at the bottom, per quantity.

  7. Move Estimate from Contact to Job

    It would be nice to be able to convert an estimate that was created under the Contact to a Job. The problem I'm having is when i create a contact then add an estimate then if i win the estimate i add a job then the estimate is not under the job. is there away to assign estimates to the job so i can convert in to an invoice under the job?

  8. More Customizable Form in Financial Tab

    It would be nice if there was a more customizable form in the finances
    section for each job. I would like to be able to make a "Cap Sheet" for each job for the salesmen's commissions. I can almost do this with the Budget form but want to be able to subtract out any advances or draws on the same form. For example:

    Bills
    ABC Supply: $3000
    Labor- roof : $2000
    Home Depot: $50
    Total $5050

    Job Total: $12000
    Job Cost 1200
    Job Expense(bills) 5050
    Profit 5750
    Commision 2875
    4% draw ($480)
    Draw/Advances ($500)
    Commision Due 1895

  9. List of all outstanding Invoices by Client

    It would be nice to send a statement of all the invoices that are outstanding with a particular client, instead of having to send multiple invoices.

    We have a few users that need this feature as well. It’s on our radar and we plan to get to it mid next year.

  10. Custom Invoice Numbers

    We are loving Job Nimbus so far but there are a few things that I would love to see different. When using Invoice numbers, we use a distinct number to identify a property address. We actually use the # address part of the address. For example, 150 Johnson Farm Rd. The invoice # we use is 150-5012. The 5012 is the auto incremented invoice id #. I have added a custom contact field for every contact that will contain what I would like to see on our invoices. The only fields that you offer for invoice number is the year,…

  11. Total Payments Received on Payments/Financials

    When you get multiple payments from customers due to large jobs it would be nice to see the running total of payments on the payment screen so you do not have to sit and add them all up.

  12. reference to show to which estimate is budget allocated

    it would be good when doing budget from estimte so that there is a description box in budget so I can see from which estimate is this budget made. we have jobs with some having 10-20 estimates and the same amount of budgets and it would make it much easier to allocate them

  13. The ability to upload existing company documents into the Templates, to create a Template from

    During setup, or even later, if I create a document for my company's use, and then want to make it a Template so that I can use JobNimbus functions with said document, I have to literally rebuild the document in your editor, which is time-consuming. I already spent the time to make it once, so I'd like to use it as is.

    Even something simple like uploading a PDF and tagging the areas to insert short codes (not requiring editing of the text/format of the PDF) would be very helpful.

  15. Edit an Estimate and then Save as Template.

    The save as template is a great function except it isn't available once the Estimate has been saved.
    Please make Save as Template available when editing an already saved estimate.

  16. Print preview when creating new templates

    When creating new templates the only way to make sure the document creator is properly set up you have to create an actual document and view it in PDF mode which is a bit cumbersome.

    A way to quickly print preview without having to recreate a document each time would be nice to save time when setting up new docs or modifying existing ones....
