  1. Text notification sent to Gmail akin to the email communications.

    Right now our confirmation emails are often missed because the little red dot shows ALL actions. If we could have those sent to our linked Gmail account like the emails are, then we can keep track of communications.

  2. Having a contact list where we can add people that aren't attached to a job

    We often work with other contactors or people that we aren't doing work for but want to keep track of their contact information. If we had a Contacts page like in Gmail, we could reference people without clogging up the Work Flow with unnecessary cards.

  3. Requiring all fields to be filled out in the contact and job field prior to saving

    We are looking for a way we could toggle on and off what fields are required when creating a job. For example: I would like to make sure a salesperson or project manager is assigned to a job before we can save the job.

  4. Edit Contact without having to leave the job!

    Please add the ability to edit a contact right from within the job, the same as updating the Job name at the top of the page. Sometimes a customer's name or email is misspelled, and I just need to correct that. I have to instead open the contact (right clicking to open in a new tab because it will open in the same one and takes you OUT of the job), then edit, save, and then go back to the job. That is a lot of extra work when it could just be edited from the same screen.

    JobNimbus team,

    I want to provide direct feedback based on real-world usage from a commercial roofing contractor. There is a significant gap in how the platform supports business-to-business (B2B) operations versus residential workflows.

    Right now, JobNimbus is heavily optimized for homeowners and one-off residential jobs—individual names, single properties, and isolated projects. That may work well for smaller residential contractors, but it creates major inefficiencies for companies like ours that operate in the commercial space.

  6. Budget

    Please configure the system to automatically update the job name in the Budget whenever the job name is changed. Currently, updates to the job name are not reflected in the Budget, which is causing confusion when generating reports and accessing related information.

  7. Tasks listed on job records display the start date and not end date, or are configurable to swap between the two

    Currently when you navigate to a job and go to the tasks tab if a task there has an start and end date/time the task before clicking into the details will show the end date. Being able to toggle between the tasks showing the start date by default would make it easier for users to see and keep track of when something is supposed to start compared to end.

  8. estimate customization

    The size and location of different text and items should be more customizable. Currently the list of packages and their pricing shows up super small and then a massive financing company logo shows up with huge pricing totals, It makes the page clunky and unappealing. Everything from column width to size of any embedded item should be customizable.

  9. Better Digital Signing work flow - Customers constantly calling to get help with the signing feature

    Is there any hope of this feature being improved in the near future. We have to walk at least 25% of our clients through the process and it takes forever. Some we unfortunately end up having to have them print up the lengthy contract, hand sign and mail in.   13. Ability to duplicate jobs with the option of what items/documents/estimates/etc to duplicate

    When duplicating jobs it would be nice to have the option what information to duplicate. Docs/estimates/etc. Then checkboxes (if choosing docs or other things) for what docs/etc to also carry over.

    This is a useful feature for similar buildings or jobs new construction projects that build the same plan over and over.

  14. Dashboard Widgets

    Have the ability to resize/reshape the widgets based on how you want them laid out on the job dashboard. I feel like the two different sizes/shapes you can currently set them to take up a lot of unnecessary space and don't display as much information as they could/should.

    And adding invoices to 'Production' widget would be very very helpful to quickly see invoice statuses.

  15. Customer Share Note

    Having the ability to edit the message in the email the customer gets that we have shared their profile with them. Being able to write a short email that describes what has been shared and provides an update to their job status without sending a separate email outlining updates and what could be a straightforward single email with a shared profile link. Could add it in under the first pop up.

    On the job dashboard the eagleview property data widget is not available on the mobile app. I was just at a new customers house looking at roof damage and, when I created the job, I realized there is nowhere on the mobile app to view the sqft, pitch and # of squares. This is where the information is critical. In the field, in a customers living room, where the closing happens! Face to face interaction is always your best opportunity to close a deal.     Main issue: JobNimbus feels person-first instead of company-first, which doesn’t match how commercial roofing actually works.

    Key frustrations you flagged:

    Companies feel like a secondary field, almost an afterthought

    The platform seems built around one-off residential customers, not corporate accounts

    There are too few places to properly attach or emphasize a company name

    Commercial users often need multiple contacts under one company (PMs, AP, supervisors, owners)

  20. Larger photos with descriptions on the work orders

    I would love to have the ability to add larger photos to my work orders. The crews cannot tell what is going on using the small photos and cannot give a description, would like to see it similar to the "Estimates"
    They could possibly print on a separate page if needed.
