  1. Job Description pull-down window expansion

    We use the Job Description for every job. We type notes regarding all job and job point of contact details and often print the job page for the crew workers and estimators. While these notes are not always extensive, often they are and being able to pull down the corner to expand the typing window is crucial. We need to make sure those notes are efficient, spaced properly, and easy to read for both managers and crew workers on the job.   2. More than one email per contact

    When a customer uses a different email than the one on their contact card, JN does not link that message to the contact. To fix this issue, allow us to add more than one email to a contact.

  3. Display the type of each work order

    In the new Job view, it does not list the type of work order, but in the previous job view it did. Now if we have multiple work orders, we have to click on the work order to see what type it is. It was helpful when it listed if it was gutter, painting, roof, etc. I have uploaded a screenshot to show what it was like before when it listed the type, and what it looks like now without.

  4. Allow contact display name to show on activity of texts in Job record

    With the recent changes made with the new jobs experience one of the changes included adding the phone number to the job records. This also changed when a text is sent to the contact from the job record, so that it now only displays the number and not the display name of the contact when viewing it on the job activity.

  5. Embedded Web Forms

    Be able to embed a JN form to company website so if a prospective customer fills out the form, it will create a contact/job in JobNimbus.

  7. Contacts with the same name in the new Jobs Experience

    The original JN process to add a contact allowed you to have multiple people with the same name as long as you modified the "display name" was unique.

    When JN first started rolling out the NEW Jobs Experience and modified the process where entering contact info was the first step in creating a new job record, the system would simply add a number "1" automatically to the display name if it matched an existing contact record. Not ideal but you could leave it or modify it after the fact. We always added the town/city to the end of the display…

  8. Larger Font in New Jobs Experience

    I understand the need to update the layout but there is a huge problem. The job title is so small I have had every one in my office ask where it was. Can this be enlarged? (See attachment, red highlighted area). The activity and size of the fonts is so small everyone is having problems with the readability of the system now which is a big problem if we are to continue to use this product.

  11. Ability to Copy Fields on New Jobs Experience

    I use to be able to copy custom fields with the old UI and take those fields and easily transplant them into my AutoCad program. Now I have to create a document template with all those fields, and copy and paste from there. Please bring back the capability of copying and custom field.

  12. Ability to Have Parent Lead Source Type or Task Type

    It would be amazing to have a parent lead or task type. This would better help for categorizing. For example, Parent Lead Type can be social media and then under that would be Facebook, Instagram, etc. and a similar style for tasks. This would be amazing later on for the Insights tab by trying to figure out what major type of marketing works better.

    It would be nice to have more ways to ways to name a job. For example, I've always been used to seeing PO# - Name but JobNimbus currently only does Name - PO#.

    Summary:
    Enable users to create, view, and manage all contact-related tasks directly within the contact record, rather than through separate task pages. This would streamline business development, prospecting, and follow-up workflows.

    Task Association is Disconnected:
    Currently, creating a task or follow-up for a contact requires navigating away from the contact record, creating a new task, then manually associating that contact to the task. This adds several unnecessary steps.

  16. Make Job Layout Settings Global Across the Organization

    On the new jobs experience dashboard, we would like widget layout changes (e.g., dashboard arrangement and panel visibility) to apply globally across their organization rather than being user-specific. This would ensure consistency in workflows and visual layouts for all team members.

  17. Have somewhere that shows Inputted Job Fields only

    I wanted to suggest an important improvement to how job information is displayed. Right now, the only place to view job fields is within the “Fields” section, which shows all possible fields. This makes it difficult to quickly identify the pertinent details for a specific job.

    It would be extremely helpful to have a summary section at the top of the page (ideally right under the job name, job number, and email OR on the right in the details drawer [would think that is where the details should be found afterall]) that displays only the filled-in fields relevant to that…

  18. Tag someone when editing contact

    It would be more efficient to be able to tag someone when adding a note while editing the contact. Many times, when editing a contact, we have to add a note. But if we want to tag someone in that note, we have to remember to edit the note after adding it.

  19. Show the Customer field name with a checkmark instead of true/falss on the cards

    we use true/false customer fields to list what trades we are doing on a job so they show up at the top of the job description and at the top of the job sidebar. i see that you can reference these custom fields on the cards display on Boards, however when you select the items they show the boolean response (i.e true true false) instead up just listing which fields were marked true. it would help with the viewing experience of the carps if it showed the field name for the cards that are marked true, or even if it…

  20. No longer previewing activity???????

    Used to when you would go to a contact, you could see all activity displayed. You could preview and reply to texts straight from the contact page, read emails, and all of that. Since the new updates, none of that information will load. I can only see that there is a line for each of the activities, but absolutely no preview of information. I hate that it makes it so much harder to access information while on a phone call with customers or suppliers. I would have preferred the functionality over the aesthetic.
