Contact information for builders/gc/buisnesses
When adding a new contact in the new experience, it asks you to type the contact's 'First Name/Company' to search for them, but if they're new and you need to add them as a new contact, you wouldn't put the Company Name up there, you need to go down and expand 'Other Info' tab and put the company name there. It's also very inconvenient that you can't change the contact display name while you're adding it. The only options you have are to display the first and last name of the contact, or create the contact and/or job(s) and then…

Related Contact types for Insurance companies, Adjusters, and Permitting Jurisdictions
In our workflows, we frequently need to associate the same contact with multiple jobs. Examples include insurance carriers, individual adjusters, and city or county permitting offices. While JobNimbus allows a contact to be linked to multiple jobs, all activity, documents, and correspondence tied to that contact currently appear across every associated job. This creates clutter in job activity feeds and makes it difficult to determine which communication belongs to which job.
The feature request is for a more relational or context aware contact to job relationship. Ideally, contacts could still exist as centralized records, but when linked to a job,…1 vote -
Custom Job Field Separators
Create sub categories or box separators so that may be roof details like shingle type . color, warranty,; is separate from insurance details such as policy number , claim number, carrier name , etc. Sure we can reorder then around, but it would be nice to group them together. One might suggest to take it a bit farther. I have read someone else suggestion to make certain groups or subcategories only available to certain users and applicable to their job responsibilities

Permit Tracking
Is there a plan to add a built in building permit tracking feature directly within jobs?
Permits are currently tracked using notes, tasks, or custom fields, which is inefficient and increases the risk of missed steps and delays.
Key features that would be valuable:
Dedicated permit section within each job
Standard statuses such as Draft, Applied, Pulled, Posted, Inspection Scheduled, and Complete
Permit number, municipality, key dates, and document uploads
Ability to assign responsibility
Inspection type tracking for jobs requiring multiple inspections
Job level and system wide permit status visibility
This would significantly improve compliance, organization, and day to day…

Add Assignee on Created Contacts from New Jobs Shell
When creating a contact on the New Jobs Shell from the right side menu bar when selecting "New Related Contact", it allows you to input information, but there is no field for the assignee or sales rep. When the contact is created by a limited access user, they cannot see the contact they have just created if the workflow is set for "Assignees" only. This does not occur for the legacy contact creation nor new contact creation from the navigation bar.

More adjuster fields
Sometimes jobs have more than one adjuster (claim handler, Inside Tech Reviewer, Field Adjuster, Desk Adjuster, etc) and it would be nice to have more fields for these contacts

Abbreviate Auto-Filled Address like Google Maps does
Fewer characters is always better. Every single one of our contacts and jobs have an abbreviated address copying the ways of Google: N instead of North ; Ave instead of Avenue ; Cir instead of Circle ... Please continue this formatting in your automatic address filling or make it optional to turn on auto fill, leaving only the auto fill of the city based on the manually entered zip code.
This consistency is important for accurate and efficient search results.

Job Description pull-down window expansion
We use the Job Description for every job. We type notes regarding all job and job point of contact details and often print the job page for the crew workers and estimators. While these notes are not always extensive, often they are and being able to pull down the corner to expand the typing window is crucial. We need to make sure those notes are efficient, spaced properly, and easy to read for both managers and crew workers on the job. Many of us still prefer paper to digital format (or prefer to use both) so making the format of…

More than one email per contact
When a customer uses a different email than the one on their contact card, JN does not link that message to the contact. To fix this issue, allow us to add more than one email to a contact.

Display the type of each work order
In the new Job view, it does not list the type of work order, but in the previous job view it did. Now if we have multiple work orders, we have to click on the work order to see what type it is. It was helpful when it listed if it was gutter, painting, roof, etc. I have uploaded a screenshot to show what it was like before when it listed the type, and what it looks like now without.

Allow contact display name to show on activity of texts in Job record
With the recent changes made with the new jobs experience one of the changes included adding the phone number to the job records. This also changed when a text is sent to the contact from the job record, so that it now only displays the number and not the display name of the contact when viewing it on the job activity.

Contacts with the same name in the new Jobs Experience
The original JN process to add a contact allowed you to have multiple people with the same name as long as you modified the "display name" was unique.
When JN first started rolling out the NEW Jobs Experience and modified the process where entering contact info was the first step in creating a new job record, the system would simply add a number "1" automatically to the display name if it matched an existing contact record. Not ideal but you could leave it or modify it after the fact. We always added the town/city to the end of the display…

Larger Font in New Jobs Experience
I understand the need to update the layout but there is a huge problem. The job title is so small I have had every one in my office ask where it was. Can this be enlarged? (See attachment, red highlighted area). The activity and size of the fonts is so small everyone is having problems with the readability of the system now which is a big problem if we are to continue to use this product.

Ability to Copy Fields on New Jobs Experience
I use to be able to copy custom fields with the old UI and take those fields and easily transplant them into my AutoCad program. Now I have to create a document template with all those fields, and copy and paste from there. Please bring back the capability of copying and custom field.

Ability to Have Parent Lead Source Type or Task Type
It would be amazing to have a parent lead or task type. This would better help for categorizing. For example, Parent Lead Type can be social media and then under that would be Facebook, Instagram, etc. and a similar style for tasks. This would be amazing later on for the Insights tab by trying to figure out what major type of marketing works better.
