Task notes to contact activity
Notes that entered in tasks & subtasks mirror to the contact activity; with the ability to apply the search/related filters to these notes as well.
For example:
If I wanted to find all of the install task related notes on a contact, I could search in that contact's activity for all related to task notes for "install"4 votes -

Notes on Financials Show on Activity
I'd like the notes that are left on financials, tasks, & work orders to also show on the main activity feed instead of having to toggle to the specified record to view the note.

Add Sections to Job Fields
It would be nice to have the ability to add a section header to the Job Fields. This would give them a space between to categorize information together. There is a lot of information we can input and being able to break it apart into groups of information would make it easier to organize. For example, a section header that says Insurance Information with all the fields related underneath like Insurance Company, Policy #, Claim #, ACV, Deposit, RCV etc.

A place to identify a project manager, as the main assignee to the project.
A place to identify a project manager, as the main assignee to the project. Like the Salesman, and Subcontractors are on assigned.
Looking for a way to assign a "User" as the main manager and internal contact for a project, and the salesman are typically not project managers. This will help internally with identify employees to the correct person to followup with on a particular project.

Auto Create Jobs
When a Contact reaches a certain stage , say verbal agreement, allow for JN to auto create Job Object. Other CRMs have this with their respective objects. Would help office staff.

Custom Auto-Generated Job Name
we can set a template for the jobid for generation, but the actual job name is not customizable and only carries over the customer name. For instance, our company has had a project naming system that included contract details and address details in the jobid. We will be taking away that now, but our job names would look like Smith Project 22-06123-D4 or Wick (Main) Project 22-06321, Main referencing the street they live on, the numbers 321 in the JobID being the street number.
The main reason for including the JobID in the name is we may have multiple projects…

Custom field that can be used as a web link
Custom field that can be used as a web link to a 3rd party source. Our instance is linking to a project's property appraiser's details on their website. But I see this being used with potential links for other things like videos, real estate listings, and/or maps or survey websites.
I would see it being deployed as the fields name, and a blue link just to the right that says " [ Link ]"

Be able to add notes, and schedule
Whenever creating a contact/job being able to add a note and tag the salesman from that screen, also being able to schedule at the same time so when you save the job everything is done. Instead of saving the job still having to go add a note then having to still go under task to schedule.

Contact info under the job for job specific contacts.
It would be nice to be able to list a specific contact under a job that is different than the parent or main contact name. For instance, when a property management company had different people managing different properties it can get confusing on how to organize the info. ie: Bigg Properties is the main billing contact. John is the rep for project A. Jamie is the contact for project B. I can link each contact to the job and keep the primary contact as Bigg Properties but when Im creating proposals I have to manually go in and type in…

Boards Horizontal Scrolling
In the Board view, which let's be honest, is the best part about JobNimbus, it would be super beneficial to be able to scroll horizontally with our mouse wheel.
The Board is wider than it is tall, and I feel this would be a massive improvement over trying to grab that tiny little scroll bar at the bottom.4 votes
