  1. customer type box for color choices

    When a customer Signs our "Contract" I want to be able to have a box that is required to be filled out that the customer would type in their color choices for roof, siding, gutters, etc... These items are crucial to have all in one spot for transparency and to cover ourselves due to discrepancies after install. This is a huge NEED

  2. Set appointment reminders in calendar

    The current calendar does not allow setting appointment reminders even thought it merges with Google Calendar. Being able to set reminders 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours, 1 day, etc before a meeting is important.

  3. make the unique identifier the client # NOT the first and last name

    the unique identifier for a client should NEVER be first and last name - it should be the assigned client ID#. we gave several clients with the SAME NAME - the system forces you to add a character to make it slightly different- problem being is it shows up that way in all the templates, emails, documents etc. in a database the unique identifier should NEVER be first and last name - always something more specific like the client id # - This is a constant issue for our office with 2 clients with same name that i deal with…

  4. Creating Multiple Categories for Job Fields

    We have alot of commercial and residential clients and we use the Job Feilds as a template of questions for our receptionists ask during job creation. These question normally only apply to residential full replacement customers so we just have to type a note for commercial clients. It would be great to be able to create entirely different templates in Job Fields for each different job type.

  6. Create "trades", under jobs, that are able to be tracked in a Gantt chart.

    Things right now are split between contacts and jobs. If you added a "trades" section that ties into the parent job, that ties into the parent contact, that would be ideal. A person calls, we add them as a client. We create a job to provide an estimate for what the client is looking for, and for the sales team to see where that lead goes. At some point the estimate is approved and "trades" are created. If the estimate was for roofing, siding, windows, and gutters then four trades are created for the production team to follow.   7. Request for a link when in a contact to click back to the Status

    Request for a link when in a contact to click back to the Status. For example, we’ll be working on contacts inside of a certain status, and we need to click back to that status, but the only option is “Go to board” which resets our progress and we have to click a couple more times.

  8. Assign Job to Sales Rep Automatically

    Currently, we'd have to setup an automation to create a task for someone to manually assign a sales representative. It would be awesome to be able to have leads automatically assigned to a sales rep based on the job type they handle. This may require the option to setup the type of trade each sales rep handles in their profile.

  9. Canvassing Features

    Nimbus already uses a map feature with geo-tracking. What our company needs is a way to track, tag, and document any addresses that we have canvassed in the past that are not necessarily customers yet. We need this feature so we can coordinate our canvassing efforts within a given area, and to know which properties we need to revisit, what happened when the sales rep was at the door, etc.

    Ideally, we would be able to change the "status" of these location pins based upon the interaction, e.g. if they weren't interested, or if they are a warm lead, or…

  10. Give Lower Level Users Permission To Delete ONLY Notes

    Currently needing to give me team the ability to destroy our whole system, when all we need to do is clear up a mistake in the notes of a contact. Please allow for Delete Note to be available outside of an admin level permission. Thank you

  12. Multiple Workflows/Scopes under 1 Job

    The ability to add different scopes of work that are associated with the same job but require different trades/crews and different schedules. For example, if we have a customer with 3 different types of roofing systems (shingles, metal accents, and TPO for their deck) there would be 3 different orders and 3 separate crews scheduled for those scopes. Or if we perform more work at the same location, for example if they build an addition 2 years after we replaced their roof, it would be helpful to be able to separate that scope of work from the original roof work.

  13. Ipad App Crashing when inputing line Items from template

    Ipad App Specific bug.. Increase the "Estimate Details" field to full screen while using the app.. Currently it is a pop up in center of the screen, if you accidently click the left or right sides outside the pop up, it will close the pop up and erase all data!
    Add a "Save" button when inputing Estimate Details under the current options tab. You currently have to back out to layout to find the save button.

  14. Be able to set any field as 'required' and not just the custom ones

    Be able to set any field as required and not just custom fields. For example email address or lead source should be able to be made required. This assist in pulling more accurate reports.

  15. Data should be organized around the building address, not owner name

    Which is more likely to change, a building address or a building owner?????

    In some industries, it makes sense for the data to be built around a person. Not in our industry. The data should all be built around the address. You can still "relate" several buildings to a single owner.

    JOBS can be completely eliminated if you use the building address as the "PRIMARY KEY" field. This is the one field that won't change.

  16. DNC (Do Not Call) List

    The Do Not Call (DNC) list is very important for marketing and business purposes - as if you call a customer on the DNC list, you would be fined MAJOR amounts. Our company got pinged for calling customers on the DNC list, which amounted to over $1,000,000+.

    It would be great if Job Nimbus would be able to have a sync with the DNC database for the States the business reigns in, and be able to populate this information in Job Nimbus for the customer phone. For example, I know of a CRM (Marketsharp) that when a customer's phone is…

  17. Leads vs. Jobs - Keeping Marketing & Operations/Production Separate

    I propose that there are two separate numbers for "Jobs" - one for new leads coming in (a separate lead number), and once the job is sold, then converting that lead into a job (with an assigned job number).

    The way it's set up right now, any sort of job card that gets created is automatically a job, which doesn't allow me to communicate between leads/jobs. I need to make these job cards in order for Analytics to track what leads came in, but the "job number" automatically assumes that the job has been sold - messing up our job…

  19. Auto-Fill Addresses Later

    When adding in a job address, entering the zip code auto-fills city and state. However, if you save a job with no address info at all and then go to add it, the __-_ lines do not appear in the zip and it does not autofill the city and state when entered. Please add this so things are easier to update when needed.

  20. Supplier field on Job

    In addition to the 'Assigned to' & 'Subcontractor' section on the job fields, it would be nice to have a drop down with the available supplier contacts to select who you are using for that project just like you can do with the subcontractors.
