  1. Private Notes Easily Identified in website

    In the Activity Tab of a job, in the notes: If a note has been marked as "Private," the note in the web based version does not show any indication of that note being private (the phone based app does show these as private). The website version of JobNimbus needs this clarification as well. We currently have to click on "Edit" just to see that the note is or is not Private.

    there is no diplay name edit option when creating a contact. unlike before. now you have to go to that chart you added an edit it from there

  5. Separate Activity & Notes

    I feel like notes should have it's own designated space like tasks, documents, financials, etc. because often times important notes get lost once there are automations, emails, etc. that occur. Or separating 'Communication' from the notes & activity would also be helpful.

  6. Merge and Move Jobs

    It would be very helpful if I had the ability to move a job from one contact to another. We recently had a QB syncing issue and had to create a new contact in JN in order to sync. We had to manually download all the notes, documents, financials, etc from all 3 of the customer's jobs. Then make new jobs under the new customer, and manually add all the notes and documents and photos back in. I had to pay my office manager to spend an entire day on this project.

  7. Jobs on Calendar Multiple Weeks

    For our roofing company for Tile and Metal jobs we do them in phases, so we have been having to create 2 separate jobs and it is screwing everything up. We would ideally be able to have ONE job that you can include multiple days/weeks on the calendar.

    Example: Have it show for 8/18/25 - 8/20/25 then that same job back on the calendar for 9/2/25 - 9/5/25. That way it doesn't mess up our payroll or notes or anything and it all makes sense as to what happened with this job.

  9. Subfolders

    Would like to create subfolders to separate out our different type of customers or subcontractors. The list can get very long with all of our customers and subcontractors that we have added.

  10. Additional Dynamic Fields for Jobs (Invoice Balance, Job Value, etc.)

    Would like a way to easily see the job value and the balance of the job when you click into the job. I know we can set up the profit tracker but it would be very beneficial if in the details of the job we can put in the job value and balance.

    Under status change have a pop up window to make comments - example one of our staus is pre -walk - would be great if we could add notes here instead of everything going into activity feed

  13. Warning for moving a job to a status that triggers an automation

    When moving a job to a status that will trigger an automation, a warning pop-up would be nice, just in case a user accidentally selects the wrong status.

  14. Custom decimal field options to disable auto rounding

    When you create a custom decimal field, there is a hard limit that the system will round to. Currently, anything beyond the hundredths place will be rounded, and there is no way to disable that.

  15. Ability to Adjust Default View of Tasks on the New Jobs Experience

    When navigating to a job in the New Jobs Experience and selecting the "Tasks" option, it defaults to show me "All" and I would like to be able to choose which one it defaults to instead. In this case, I want "Incomplete" to be visible first.

  16. Navigate to "Contacts" Page instead of "Home" Page after Contact Deletion

    When I delete a contact either on the contact list page (https://app.jobnimbus.com/contactlist), or a specific contact itself (https://app.jobnimbus.com/contact/ID), it takes me back to the home page instead of back to the list of contacts. This can be frustrating if I want to delete multiple contacts as I have to navigate back.

  17. Allow the user to set the preferred default drop-down option when viewing the activity page.

    Every time you view activity, it defaults to User Created. Being able to set what the default option is.

  18. make the unique identifier the client # NOT the first and last name

    the unique identifier for a client should NEVER be first and last name - it should be the assigned client ID#. we gave several clients with the SAME NAME - the system forces you to add a character to make it slightly different- problem being is it shows up that way in all the templates, emails, documents etc. in a database the unique identifier should NEVER be first and last name - always something more specific like the client id # - This is a constant issue for our office with 2 clients with same name that i deal with…

  20. Bring back the "Work Order" tab on Contacts

    Bring back the "Work Order" tab on Contacts. If you have a contact with a hundred jobs it is not easy to see which ones might have work order that needs to be completed. As it is now set up, we have to cycle through all the jobs to see which ones are in a status we've created called "work order created". Not a good solution if the contact had 10 pages of jobs.
