  2. Change Work Order Default Email Template

    When emailing a work order directly from within the work order there is a "default" email or you can select a previously created email template. Would like to choose what that default email template is.

  4. Section Totals showing internally

    We are struggling with some of the features and how it is presenting totals. For example, we have an estimate that has roofing and siding, we can get grand totals of the sections, and grand total of the estimate with labor and material split out, but we are not able to get a quick sum of cost by section, essentially wanting a quick look at what is the material + labor cost for the roofing versus the siding.

  5. Be able to have a color in section titles in estimates

    It would make the estimate easier to read if we could color in the sections rather than just a gray color and would help just make them stand out to indicate its a section.

  6. Ability to lock estimate pricing

    Have the ability to lock certain estimates templates so that the prices cannot be changed. This would ensure salesmen do not have ability to change the price. Also, provide the ability to be able to assign estimates templates to certain reps.

  7. Ability to select additional recipients for payment receipts

    Have the ability to select additional recipients to receive the payments receipt when collecting a payment through Global Payments integration. Currently only the sales rep and primary contact get the receipt.

  8. Custom Status for Financial Documents (Estimates, Work Orders, etc)

    Would really like to have the ability to create custom statuses (maybe even rename some existing) for Estimates. Lots of different use cases I'll list a few more critical for our operations.

    • The ability to have an "on hold" or "future re-bid" type status for an estimate that needs to be followed-up on in the future.
    • The ability to have an "options" or "not selected" type status for when we present multiple bids (good, better, best) or multiple phases (broken into individual estimates) to a customer and they select one, but we don't want to mark the others as denied…

  9. Able to Add Total Labor and Total Materials as Invoice Report Column Option

    Include the total labor cost and total material cost in an invoice report as a column option. When I run a weekly or monthly invoice report, I can see the total invoice price and the total costs as line items, but really need to see the total material and total labor breakdown also. It shows on the invoice -- just want to add it as a column option, exactly like Total, Total Cost, Total Paid, Balance, etc options

  10. Hide amounts or not to hide amounts, or items

    I want to be able to hide or not hide items individually within a section.

    i.e.

    I am bidding to add lighting in a horse barn/arena. I don't want them getting lost in the involved items but I want them to see I am charging them for 14 fixtures and then I would also be able to have the direct attached image instead of adding an image attachment separately.

  11. Monthly Payment Options

    Create a calculation for estimated financing options using amortized loan equation. Let the Nimbus user enter in the rate (r) and term length (n). Set a function to import the estimate total (P) into the equation. The (A) would be the box that shows the monthly payment on the estimates.

    Here's the equation:

    A = Payment amount per period

    P = Initial principal or loan amount (in this example, $10,000)

    r = Interest rate per period (in our example, that's 7.5% divided by 12 months)

    n = Total number of payments or periods

  13. Convert invoice to Paid in Full Receipt

    We would like to be able to convert an invoice into a Paid in Full receipt. We have a template design for this but when we sent it to our customer it still shows as an invoice and there are times they don't open the invoice to see it's paid in full. It causes them confusion and makes them think they are being charged again. If we could convert the invoice to a receipt, 1) the file would show receipt, and 2) there could be a separate email to auto-send with the receipt that shows receipt instead of invoice

  15. Separate Products from Service, add variations with same unit of measure

    Be able to separate products from services to be able to select services from products. Also, have the ability to create a variation under existing product to specify different measurements for the same unit of measure. We have posts that are different lengths in feet.

  16. Ability to use template custom fields in line items

    Like template fields on an estimate, it would be great to be able to use fields that auto populate in the line items of an estimate that can draw data from a contact field. This would be helpful for repeated estimates that need the same/similar data.

  18. Formula section for Estimates

    I think we need a section that allows us to be able to create simple formulas with the estimate lines. For example: My team uses Hover for a siding estimate. They enter the linear feet of trim that hover displays for "Outside Corners" and it is in a "James Hardie Template". The formula I would need to write is: Outside Corner Linear Feet * .05 (round up) / 12 (12' is the length of the trim for James Hardie)

    Don’t get hung up on Hover. We don’t always need a hover, but having that capability to convert a line item…

  20. Over-payment on financials tab

    Under the financials tab, show any overpayments on accounts. We often have contacts paying through the QuickBooks link by ACH from their insurance and, for example, if the bill is $20,000 and the insurance pays $21,000, then there is a $1,000 overpayment. We need to be able to see anyone who has overpaid so we can get them that money back.
