Material Order Qty options
We install a lot of Metal Roofs and it's sold by the Linear Foot. I would like an option in a Material Order, where I input a qty at X number of Linear Foot.
For example: 9 panels @ 13'5" = $100.

Estimate Section Title Feedback
In logos estimates logo uses the "section title" with a lot of verbiage. The verbiage use to go across the page. Now with the new section description when logo goes to view his past estimates the section title verbiage is off to the left hand side and is clumped together. It no longer goes across the page.
Currently the way to fix this issue is to recreate all his estimate templates to include the new "show section description". He would like to be able to edit his current estimate template, to allow the "show section description".

Easier way to be notified which line items need updated in the estimate template
In estimate templates, notify what line items need to be updated from Beacon, currently the only notification you get its "Note: Supplier pricing for this estimate has changed since you last reviewed this order. If you save, your estimate costs will be updated."
Would like an easier way to know which line items need updated in the estimate template1 vote -
Custom field pulls from estimate totals
Can there be a custom contact field that pulls from estimate and invoice totals (subtotal, section total, etc.)?

Show section totals while filling out estimate
Right now you can't see section total while filling out the estimate, you can only see it after saving.

Column for "Cost Total Per Line Item" on an Estimate.
We want to add a column, we would like to see a cost total per line item. This would resemble the price total per line item shown in the amount column. It might not even be something to toggle on or off, it's really just adding a new calculation to the row

Can you guy put a toolbar for estimate like you have for documents; or on documents can you make it so you can put a summary and discount
For an example:
I should have a tool bar when am creating an estimates and more better format when creating an estimate.
My estimate looks like an invoice rather an estimate. I can't edit my estimate like I can with documents, there also know way put a discount next to my price. Where is the summary or price location when creating documents.1 vote -
Internal Notes for Product Items
Is there a way to make internal notes in the products and services cost catalog? I like to use it as a reference of when pricing was updated, part numbers on items quoted, and so on.

Create Option for Checkboxes when Estimate is converted to Work Order
Create the option on an estimate template to have editable checkboxes appear ((both on desktop and mobile (ex: mask required, using existing hardware, etc.)) when an estimate is saved and converted over to a work order.

Accepting Down payments on jobs (Accrual basis of accounting)
Has anyone found a good work around for accepting down payments for jobs that will not start for at least 4-6 weeks. We are on the accrual basis of accounting and currently JobNimbus has us doing an invoice for the down payment then posting a payment against that invoice. This invoice transfers to Quickbooks as unearned revenue which is where it's supposed to go. W
Weeks later, when we start the job, we convert the estimate to an invoice when recognize the income. The problem is the people are getting confused as to what to tell the client they need…

Hide pricing on work orders in mobile app if the template has it hidden internally.
Even if a work order template has the pricing hidden both internally and externally, it appears when viewed on the mobile app.

Previous Versions of Documents
It would be great if we could see the previous versions of a document (estimate, invoices, etc). For example, if I made changes to an estimate, I can still be able to see a version of the estimate before the update.

Page breaks on estimates or invoices
Right now if there are too many items or long item descriptions on an estimate or invoice then the page break cuts off some of the information and makes it difficult for contacts to read. We need that ability to insert page breaks to avoid this.

Rounding in Estimates / Invoices
It would be great to be able to have line items round to the nearest dollar or $5 increment. OR have the ability to have Sections round to the nearest dollar increment that is chosen in settings.

Work Order Options
Currently on work orders when your starting a new one, the date is automatically selected. Logo would like the option to turn this off. They would also like to be able to have their "saved work order" be able to correlate with the "type" when they select it.

Workflows for Material Orders
Ability to create workflows for Material orders just like we do for Work Orders. We would love to have statuses for Materials Orders such as "need to order", "on order", "received", backordered, etc. We could then create boards and use automation.

Ability to base budgets off invoices
Right now we have to create an estimate, convert it to an invoice, then change the status of the invoice to open. Lots of steps that could be reduced by having the budget run off of the invoices.

WORK ORDER AMOUNT(S) SHOWN IN WORK ORDER SECTION
With every "Section" (Invoices, Estimates, Payments) there is a column showing the amount of each document. That is except for Work Orders. When contractors are doing large-scale jobs and have to bill them, they are required to show what they have paid each sub-contractor. As of now, anyone using JN has to either click on each one individually in the work order section, or go to documents and filter, and click on each one. We cant even create a report (in reports) that shows amounts as the column is not available in the "Add Column" section. This should be very…

Customize Payment Terms
Payment Terms should pull from the main customer account in QBO and / or be customizable in JN. Should be able to set customer payment terms, tax rates, discount terms at the customer level and have it pull into the job account instead of having to set it on each invoice. Estimates should have a place for payment terms.

a link back to the customer's financial page when viewing their estimates, invoices, ect...
When reviewing multiple estimates for the same customer, it would be handy to be able to return quickly back to the customer financial page, and not have to go through the run around of going to their main contact page.
