Good news! We are planning to improve this functionality in an upcoming release. Phone numbers (and other contact information) from the related Contacts will be displayed prominently on the Job view screen. This will mean you no longer have to click into the Contact from the Job to find the phone number or email address.
We expect this update to release in the next 30 days.

I suggested this years ago! I called multiple times as well. Everyone agrees that it is a great idea, but JN seems to only be focusing on visual updates at the moment instead of improvements!

This is a must have for different workflows like: insurance job, cash job, repairs. Most companies require different data for a residential job vs commercial job. Also, I see that this has been planned for over 3 years now........ How about an update on the status.

Show/Hide Fields based on answer of other fields.
Lets say I choose a Cash Job from the Job Type. I would like to hide all insurance fields that I have created based on that type.

We will be going over these kinds of suggestions soon after finishing up some high priority features. We’ll update here with our plan going forward.

If you are using the job feature, a job is not needed until a contract is signed. Therefore most users create estimates in the contacts section. JN offers the option to create a invoice from the estimate, but only in the section (contact or job) that it is created in. When using jobs, you don't invoice a contact, you invoice a job. Currently, a estimate has to be re-created, or an invoice made from scratch. We should be able to transfer a estimate to a job, or when "converting" an estimate, we should have the option to send it to a open job for that contact.
