Allow for Required Fields or Steps in Estimates
User would like to have a required field or step for ensuring that when their Sales Reps are building the Estimates they don't send for signing before certain things are done

Increase Company Name Character limit on Estimates (New Sales Experience)
On the estimates in NSE if we put the name "Custom Sound Builders" then the estimate PDF only shows "Builders" as the name. We want to be able to enter the full company name and have that show on the estimate.

Custom Page with Photo Attachments in NSE
Currently the only way to attach photos to NSE estimates is via the inspection page. Would be great if we could add them on a custom page as well, like how we can add pdfs to additional pages.

Option to Hide Package Pricing Until Final Estimate Summary
Ryan at Gray Duck Roofing is requesting the ability to hide individual package pricing (Silver, Gold, Platinum) on the estimate pages and instead display all pricing on a final summary page. This change would allow their team to first walk clients through company values and the benefits of each package without the distraction of upfront pricing, helping to better communicate value before discussing cost.

Increase the image preview window in NSE Estimates
When selecting images to insert, the pop up window and the images are small and hard to view. Could we increase the size or add the option to be able to increase the preview size?

Show total with sales tax on upgrades page before selected
Currently, you have to select upgrades and be one step from signing the estimate to see the total tax applied to the upgrades. This makes it hard for anyone who is going to be paying with a check, which simply goes off of what the estimate says without actually selecting options.

Template Field/Estimate Token for Estimate Approved Date or Date Signed
In the state of PA, we are required by law to include two copies of a "Right to Cancel" form with any estimate we create and send to a customer. We are trying to set up our estimates to include one, but we are running into a snag: There is no estimate token that allows us to include the date that the estimate was signed. Please create a token where when we build out a custom page document in NSE, that will include the date the estimate was signed, so that we can have it populate on that necessary, legal…

Increase New Sales Experience Estimate Product Description Space
Their biggest issue is estimates. They are very and detailed long line items which NSE doesn't really allow to have. Since of this, it seems they can't build estimates so instead, I provided a workaround for every trade, line items, descriptions and even cost to be added in description since it doesn't have a limit and only the headers will go to estimate details with their prices so they can have them signed with the right cost and value.

Multiple Spots for Signature/Initials in NSE
It would be nice if we had the option to insert a signature/initial field in the Estimate for NSE. Right now, there is only the one signature page available, and this doesn't work for our business at this time. Currently, we are sending our Project Agreements through Adobe Sign, but would prefer to have everything in one place!

Easier to Include Company as Default Signer on NSE Estimates
In legacy estimates, we could easily add a company representative to sign the contracts. My attorney tells me our contracts are not valid unless both parties sign. Please make it easy to add the sales rep or company owner, etc, to the list of signers, with the ability to sign from within JN. Even better would be if the company representative can automatically have their signatures added to the contracts.

Clarity on where Templates are being built and used
There is some confusion on the phrasing of 'Template' when it comes to the Estimates and Material Orders in NSE.
Since the Estimate Layouts have Estimate Templates, and then the Estimate Templates can be applied to Material Orders, they'd like to have some wording updated so that they know where and when they can use the 'Templates' built

Additional Item Types for Products & Services
Currently you can only identify a product or service as 'labor' or 'material'. This makes it difficult to accurately job cost when we have to include other items/services in our estimates and jobs such as equipment rentals, disposal fees, permits, and other administrative/miscellaneous costs that don't necessarily fall under 'labor' or 'materials'. It would be nice to be able to categorize those items accordingly so we can accurately budget for these items.
Additional item types could include:
Equipment
Disposal
Other (this would be for any other product or service that doesn't fall under labor, material, or the two listed above)5 votes -

Customize the Estimate Detail Page
It would be great if we could customize the estimate detail pages with things like logos or designs. Even a basic PDF page that acts as the background for the line items would be good. That way when we customize the pages we could make them all uniform. This would go for other pages to like the Auth page.
