  2. Abbreviate Auto-Filled Address like Google Maps does

    Fewer characters is always better. Every single one of our contacts and jobs have an abbreviated address copying the ways of Google: N instead of North ; Ave instead of Avenue ; Cir instead of Circle ... Please continue this formatting in your automatic address filling or make it optional to turn on auto fill, leaving only the auto fill of the city based on the manually entered zip code.

    This consistency is important for accurate and efficient search results.

  3. More than one email per contact

    When a customer uses a different email than the one on their contact card, JN does not link that message to the contact. To fix this issue, allow us to add more than one email to a contact.

  4. Creating new jobs

    The new way of adding jobs doesn't allow for the choosing of zip code and the city popping up anymore. I feel like that went backwards

    When I select a contact, it already has a salesman selected for it. However, when the job gets created, it doesn't pull that salesman into the job. It has to be selected again. Again, I feel like that went backwards

    Sometimes I have to email invoices to a project manager AND a main accounting email. I suggest having a multiple email option for a contact.

  5. No longer previewing activity???????

    Used to when you would go to a contact, you could see all activity displayed. You could preview and reply to texts straight from the contact page, read emails, and all of that. Since the new updates, none of that information will load. I can only see that there is a line for each of the activities, but absolutely no preview of information. I hate that it makes it so much harder to access information while on a phone call with customers or suppliers. I would have preferred the functionality over the aesthetic.   6. flag problematic customers

    We would like a way to visually flag customers who may have been problematic in the past, so that if they call in for future services a year later, we can catch it and maybe decline working for them again.

  7. Tag someone when editing contact

    It would be more efficient to be able to tag someone when adding a note while editing the contact. Many times, when editing a contact, we have to add a note. But if we want to tag someone in that note, we have to remember to edit the note after adding it.

  8. Contacts with the same name in the new Jobs Experience

    The original JN process to add a contact allowed you to have multiple people with the same name as long as you modified the "display name" was unique.

    When JN first started rolling out the NEW Jobs Experience and modified the process where entering contact info was the first step in creating a new job record, the system would simply add a number "1" automatically to the display name if it matched an existing contact record. Not ideal but you could leave it or modify it after the fact. We always added the town/city to the end of the display…

  9. Custom Dropdown that lets you pick from contacts just like Assigned To and Sales Rep

    We have more than five use cases for this feature (only the ones I think most contractors could benefit from are here):
    Project Manager
    Customer Service Manager
    Quality Control Rep
    Canvasser

    Make a feature where we can create custom fields that allow you to select contacts, users, and subcontractors. Maybe three different Custom Dropdown field types that isolate to each so picking isn't too cumbersome?

    I hate having to populate the dropdown each time a head changes.

    Main issue: JobNimbus feels person-first instead of company-first, which doesn’t match how commercial roofing actually works.

    Key frustrations you flagged:

    Companies feel like a secondary field, almost an afterthought

    The platform seems built around one-off residential customers, not corporate accounts

    There are too few places to properly attach or emphasize a company name

    Commercial users often need multiple contacts under one company (PMs, AP, supervisors, owners)

    Adding contacts to an existing company/customer is not intuitive — you have to hunt around

  13. estimate customization

    The size and location of different text and items should be more customizable. Currently the list of packages and their pricing shows up super small and then a massive financing company logo shows up with huge pricing totals, It makes the page clunky and unappealing. Everything from column width to size of any embedded item should be customizable.

  14. Better Digital Signing work flow - Customers constantly calling to get help with the signing feature

    Is there any hope of this feature being improved in the near future. We have to walk at least 25% of our clients through the process and it takes forever. Some we unfortunately end up having to have them print up the lengthy contract, hand sign and mail in.   17. Ability to duplicate jobs with the option of what items/documents/estimates/etc to duplicate

    When duplicating jobs it would be nice to have the option what information to duplicate. Docs/estimates/etc. Then checkboxes (if choosing docs or other things) for what docs/etc to also carry over.

    This is a useful feature for similar buildings or jobs new construction projects that build the same plan over and over.

  18. Dashboard Widgets

    Have the ability to resize/reshape the widgets based on how you want them laid out on the job dashboard. I feel like the two different sizes/shapes you can currently set them to take up a lot of unnecessary space and don't display as much information as they could/should.

    And adding invoices to 'Production' widget would be very very helpful to quickly see invoice statuses.

  20. Customer Share Note

    Having the ability to edit the message in the email the customer gets that we have shared their profile with them. Being able to write a short email that describes what has been shared and provides an update to their job status without sending a separate email outlining updates and what could be a straightforward single email with a shared profile link. Could add it in under the first pop up.
