  1. Ability to add signature line to estimate template (with page breaks!)

    We send out a LOT of estimates every year, so it would be extremely cumbersome to generate a new document each time someone approves an estimate in order to create a contract. Instead, we add our contract language to every proposal and have signature lines at the bottom. In most cases, this runs onto two or more pages so we include the estimate number for easy reference below the signature.

    That said, we need the customers to be able to esign!! Can we please add this functionality to estimates? It would be extremely helpful to also add pagebreaks to help…

  2. Work Order design for sub contractors - contact info, signatures, etc.

    We use our Work Order's as the contract with the SubContractors with terms and conditions for their scope of work. Having a contractor digital signature line would make that easier.

  3. Print or Export Budgets

    I think this may be my third time posting about this. I'm just confused as to why this doesn't exist when the feature is already present in Job Nimbus.

    Budgets, currently as they stand, have no ability to be Printed or to be exported as a CSV (The Budget Report that would only show you the Totals and Profit of each budget is not an answer to this.)

    Every other Financial Document (Invoice, Credit Memo, Material Order, Estimate) can all be printed out in PDF format, but Budgets do not have this feature. But personally I would prefer it if…

  5. More Customizable Form in Financial Tab

    It would be nice if there was a more customizable form in the finances
    section for each job. I would like to be able to make a "Cap Sheet" for each job for the salesmen's commissions. I can almost do this with the Budget form but want to be able to subtract out any advances or draws on the same form. For example:

    Bills
    ABC Supply: $3000
    Labor- roof : $2000
    Home Depot: $50
    Total $5050

    Job Total: $12000
    Job Cost 1200
    Job Expense(bills) 5050
    Profit 5750
    Commision 2875
    4% draw ($480)
    Draw/Advances ($500)
    Commision Due 1895

  6. Optional sections

    The software we're transitioning from is a lot more basic than JobNimbus, but it already has this so it's disappointing that JobNimbus doesn't. Basically, have the customer be able to select what sections of the estimate they would like and this would determine their total estimate price (for good better best estimates for example or multi-trade estimates). Just have a checkbox for them to select by each section. This could easily allow upselling and cross selling without making the estimate a mess that then later has to be commented on by the customer, edited, and resent.

  8. Revise Quotes and add revision number

    It would be great if we had an option to create a revised quote from an existing quote. Numbered like this original # 1000 revised # 1000-2. That way we could keep the original. I've had to revise quotes a number of times and a couple of times I had to revert back to original.

  9. ability to attach pdf to work order

    Would like to be able to attach pdf's to Work Orders (currently can only attach photos). I have to either retype the entire scope into the work order or follow up every Work Order with an email attaching the scope. Sad face for the double work.

  10. Deposit Required Line for Estimates

    Is there a way to add a Deposit Value on quotes.

    So the sums total would look like this.

    Quote Price $10,000.00
    TAX $500.00
    Sub Total $10,500.00
    Deposit Required $5,000.00
    Balance Due on Completion $5,500.00

    There isn’t a way to require a deposit at this time on the estimate, but you can add it as a line item and that will help in the meantime until we have more native support of this feature.

    Which templates are you wanting to add a page break to?

    On certain forms, like an estimate, it seems like the page breaks would need to be conditional based on the number of line items, which would be quite tricky.

  14. Sections that group line items together

    I think it would be immensely helpful for sections to group the line items together. Doing this would open up a whole list of possibilities, including:

    -moving whole sections together instead of one line item at a time
    -mass deletion of sections
    -adding line items to specific sections
    -creating work orders off of individual sections
    -creating "pre-made sections" to add to estimates

    Doing sections like this would solve a lot of issues my company has and covers some issues other posters have pointed out as well. Specifically, this would allow a more building-block way of making estimates so we could…

  15. Dates on Split payments. Leave the blank or modify later.

    It would be great if we could create a split invoice without the need to enter a payment date for each percentage.

  16. Warning When Attempting to Edit, Attach to Contacts/Jobs that are Archived

    Have a pop up on Paid and Closed clients when someone attempts to add an attachment?
    We are running into an issue with invoices added to the job after it is closed - which we can adjust - but the person needs to be informed it is Paid and Closed so they can contact the office.

    The pop-up could say, "Paid and Closed Client. Do you wish to proceed?"

  17. Duplicate Work Orders

    I would like to be able to duplicate work orders like we can duplicate estimates. This will allow me to take a work order that our sales rep creates and duplicate it and edit it without loosing the original.

  18. Ability to attach EagleViews or Scope Reports to Work Orders

    I see the awesome new feature that allows us to attach photos to work orders or material orders.

    This would be great if it could extend to other documents in attachments. For instance; if we could attach the Eagle View along with the Roof Labor Order, it would be more efficient on our end!

    I have seen that this idea has been "completed" but it only allows attachment of photos onto labor/material orders for me.....Does our version of Nimbus not support the new function?

  20. Add Cost, Price, Totals to Work and Material Order Tools

    Create a new checkbox for the top administrative portion when creating Work Order and Material Order templates. This would be "Cost" (what the manufacturer charges, per line item), and would be accompanied by a total Cost at the bottom, per quantity.
