Multiple Statuses for Jobs/Contacts
For example, if we collected a payment, while waiting on status of an inspection, I would like to have 2 statuses active showing that we did collect the payment, and that we are still waiting on inspection.

Have the first page of the work order and material order be a photo of the home and address
We got accustomed to this with sumo quote. The first page of the work being the photo of the house and address really helps crews know they are at the right house. Also our supplier has mentioned that they really like this as it also helps their drivers when they are delivering materials before the job starts.

Creating Multiple Categories for Job Fields
We have alot of commercial and residential clients and we use the Job Feilds as a template of questions for our receptionists ask during job creation. These question normally only apply to residential full replacement customers so we just have to type a note for commercial clients. It would be great to be able to create entirely different templates in Job Fields for each different job type.

Create "trades", under jobs, that are able to be tracked in a Gantt chart.
Things right now are split between contacts and jobs. If you added a "trades" section that ties into the parent job, that ties into the parent contact, that would be ideal. A person calls, we add them as a client. We create a job to provide an estimate for what the client is looking for, and for the sales team to see where that lead goes. At some point the estimate is approved and "trades" are created. If the estimate was for roofing, siding, windows, and gutters then four trades are created for the production team to follow. JOBS users that dont use CONTACTS for certain features should be able to block/disable those features
We need the ability to prevent notes, emails, tasks, files, and financials from being created on the contact, and only created on JOBS.
In our company, we track everything through the job itself and not the CONTACT. Sometimes the employee ends up on the CONTACT details and starts to create these items thinking they are on the JOB, and then mistakes begin to happen because they thought it was noted, or an email sent, and there is no evidence of it on the job for other team members.
This could be at the account level or from ACCESS PROFILES

I would like to be able to have a search function that will scan all notes entered on a contact/job and find keywords entered in those notes.

Ability to search from the list view in contacts and jobs
Would like the ability to search jobs or contacts via a search bar. When clicking on the contacts or jobs icon at the top of the page and entering the list view it would be nice to have a search bar vs. having to click through multiple pages looking for that contact or job. The search bar at the top of the page is decent but pulls everything together.

Custom Auto-Generated Job Name
we can set a template for the jobid for generation, but the actual job name is not customizable and only carries over the customer name. For instance, our company has had a project naming system that included contract details and address details in the jobid. We will be taking away that now, but our job names would look like Smith Project 22-06123-D4 or Wick (Main) Project 22-06321, Main referencing the street they live on, the numbers 321 in the JobID being the street number.

Boards Horizontal Scrolling
In the Board view, which let's be honest, is the best part about JobNimbus, it would be super beneficial to be able to scroll horizontally with our mouse wheel.
The Board is wider than it is tall, and I feel this would be a massive improvement over trying to grab that tiny little scroll bar at the bottom.4 votes -
full calendar in app
Im trying to figure out why the feature of seeing all team members calendars was not implemented in the new app?? My sales people need to be able to click and see our site assessors calendar without pulling up the desktop site (because guess what the desktop site is definitely not app product friendly, it is so glitchy!) please add that option as wells as the boards option to the new app otherwise its useless to our company.

Boards assigned to team members
I cannot stress this one enough, i dont know how it isnt already implemented! There needs to be an option (like the filter option) to assign boards to certain team members. Then when a contact of work order enters that board those team members are automatically assigned that contact. How does it help me to move a project into the engineering board and send them a task if they are not able to see that contact without me going in and assigning the contact to them?
