Email feature needs a significant update
There are several corrections and improvements that should be made with email feature. One thing I noticed that can make any company look unorganized and needs to be addressed immediately is if you have 2 or more contacts listed and connected to a job, when you create an invoice and choose from the job contacts who it goes to, then email it to that same contact - it still pulls the "primary contact" info!
Also, make email signatures per user a thing!

Comprehensive Sub-contractor Management
An independent contractor/sub section with settings (similar to existing contacts, but specific to contractors). What this could entail....
Enter all contractor contacts through this process. Allow you to add data fields specific to contractors without conflating this information with customer data fields.
A multi-selection drop down notating all fields of work and/or roof types they offer services for.
A document tracking mechanism where an expiration date can be notated on the document and a notification is sent when the document is about to expire (i.e. when COI is about to expire, work comp, a new W9 is required).

Creating Multiple Categories for Job Fields
We have alot of commercial and residential clients and we use the Job Feilds as a template of questions for our receptionists ask during job creation. These question normally only apply to residential full replacement customers so we just have to type a note for commercial clients. It would be great to be able to create entirely different templates in Job Fields for each different job type.

Limit access on work orders to change status but not edit or create.
We really need our subcontractors inside of jobnumbus to have access to change the status of a work order to complete, but for obvious reasons they need to not be able to edit or create work orders.

Create "trades", under jobs, that are able to be tracked in a Gantt chart.
Things right now are split between contacts and jobs. If you added a "trades" section that ties into the parent job, that ties into the parent contact, that would be ideal. A person calls, we add them as a client. We create a job to provide an estimate for what the client is looking for, and for the sales team to see where that lead goes. At some point the estimate is approved and "trades" are created. If the estimate was for roofing, siding, windows, and gutters then four trades are created for the production team to follow. Be able to set any field as 'required' and not just the custom ones
Be able to set any field as required and not just custom fields. For example email address or lead source should be able to be made required. This assist in pulling more accurate reports.

Properties Menu For A Single Contact
When dealing with realtors who have several properties, instead of creating numerous contacts for the same realtor (which can be difficult to keep track of), it would be helpful to have a 'Properties' menu attached to a single contact. When you click on a property, it would provide you with all the same options as if you were clicking on the contact.

Highlight primary contact in green. Green = Money = the person who pays the bills
Latest update stopped highlighting the primary contact in Green. Please return to highlight primary contact in green. Green=Money. That is how you trained us and how we have trained our personnel. It is a very quick visual for us to be sure we have the correct primary contact assigned.

Stop duplicate contacts with the same address
Is there a way for the system to keep us from creating multiple contacts under the same address? For example, the husband calls in and requests a service on their property. The next year the wife calls in and requests a different service and we enter her into the system so now we have two different names under the same address. When creating a new contact, can the system populate an existing contact when we type in their address?

Option to auto-populate job-information from related-contact
Option to auto-populate job-information from related-contact (In form of checkbox in the “create job” window).
For our use of JobNimbus, we rarely have a contact that has different information than the contact. Because we use jobs, there is a lot of repetition when we have to re-enter the same contact information to the job in turn decreasing efficiency over time.5 votes -
Task notes to contact activity
Notes that entered in tasks & subtasks mirror to the contact activity; with the ability to apply the search/related filters to these notes as well.
For example:
If I wanted to find all of the install task related notes on a contact, I could search in that contact's activity for all related to task notes for "install"5 votes -
Automations Summary tooltip
It would be nice to have a preview or tooltip showing what automations will trigger when a contact or job is moved into a new status.

Be able to add notes, and schedule
Whenever creating a contact/job being able to add a note and tag the salesman from that screen, also being able to schedule at the same time so when you save the job everything is done. Instead of saving the job still having to go add a note then having to still go under task to schedule.

Contact info under the job for job specific contacts.
It would be nice to be able to list a specific contact under a job that is different than the parent or main contact name. For instance, when a property management company had different people managing different properties it can get confusing on how to organize the info. ie: Bigg Properties is the main billing contact. John is the rep for project A. Jamie is the contact for project B. I can link each contact to the job and keep the primary contact as Bigg Properties but when Im creating proposals I have to manually go in and type in…

Use Bulk Edit to Trigger Automation
I would like to be able to use the reports and bulk edit function to move groups of contacts out of one status and into another to trigger an automation all at once, rather than manually moving each job.
